Round up the unemployed at gun point and capture all newspaper delivery persons! Inspect all media cafes and pornography stations!! Be alert for any Japanese male who washes more than two fingers in a public toilet!!

Posted in: Woman in wheelchair dies after being hit by drunk driver in Gifu See in context

Drunk or he hit something he couldn't see? Drunk hits wheelchair with no lights-reflectors operating on national highway. He could have been sober and sending e-mail, lighting a smoke, talking to his pal or chum or adjusting his radio. Does it matter?? Wheelchairs don't belong on the highway! Send him to prison for ten years, but suspend it for 10 and a day. Then take away his license and car for 10 years. He can take a cab or move closer to work.

Yawn..they've already used this theme. About 7 years ago there was a deaf love story and many females in their twenties longed for their boyfriend to lose his hearing.

Posted in: Smoking See in context

I am happy to see young people enjoying a good clean smoke!! What you complainers haven't noticed is their traditional ecological clothes and the absence of plastic bags! These bright young youth are protecting the enviornment. It's good to see tradition and equality working hand in hand. Their boyfriends smoke and now they can too. It's something their grandmothers were unable to enjoy. Look at them clustered near that ash can. Who says the youth of Japan are in decline. I say they are far more advanced than their parents.

Drunk and in a hurry! I wonder what the old woman was doing out so late. After those latest editorial lambasting Spiderman in the Bugle you'd think she'd be afraid to venture out at night!

Posted in: The day Japan’s netizens turned news on its head See in context

They are able to empathize with their group or friends. They do lack the compassion to "feel" for anyone outside of that circle. If you put several Japanese together for an hour they would make a loose group which would have some cohesion. They would view anyone not within it as an "outsider". When the group broke up they would return to their established groups. The time they spend traveling between groups is the time to observe them and see if they have any empathy. The traditional media views anyone who films an event as an enemy. Everything in Japan is us vs them. The confusing part is there is us and US and it is difficult to determine the boundaries of us. While US is very strong and established. If you changed young people with cameras with old women without them the result would be the same-standing and gawking. If you took the old women away and put a group of business men - they too would stand and gawk. With or without cameras they would gawk. Old and young would gawk. Male and female would gawk. The established media is unable to empathize with people outside of their group!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gloves, they forgot to wear their gloves. Idiots obviously didn't learn anything from the previous encounters with the cops. Here is an example of what happens when kids DON'T watch tv, but sit around talking or text messaging. They've been finger printed before , but without tv to tell them what it meant they were lost. Hopefully they'll learn from this and watch tv and figure out how to stay out of trouble when the become "adults".

Posted in: Obama to use executive orders to reverse Bush policies See in context

Bloomberg says New York needs money and he's planning to raise taxes and tax shoppers 5 cents a plastic bag to raise money and save the enviornment. Transport workers get 99% or 99.5% health coverage in addition to high salaries. It is easier for Bloomberg to tax the working class than to battle the labor unions. Obama will do the same. He'll save GM and Ford and shovel billions into union coffers..for the sake of the enviornment and the country. He's not about race at all. He's about the entitled class and the working class. Have you read about The Long Island Railroad disability scandal? That ought to give people an idea of America under Obama and his handlers.

I am reminded of a Pulitzer Prize winning photograph of a starving Etheopian boy fighting for a few more moments of life while a vulture sat next to him. The photographer was ADMIRED by his peers!! He was cheered for taking an emotional photograph. He profited from it. He also gave up the chance to give the boy a few moments of comfort before he died. He killed himself years later. I don't know why.

If he can do it why can't everyone else?? He got an international prize..a coveted prize for what he did. What is the difference between him and the blood thirsty amateures..except for his press pass???

Posted in: Real change in America represents immense task See in context

I SUGGEST that every Congress-person and Senator take the BLAME for any and all excesses!! Fingering Mr Bush as the source of all problems is FALSE and DANGEROUS!! The American government is a democracy, not a dictatorship!! EVERY person who holds a position in Washington with the power to vote is responsible for the current messes!! Obama wasn't demanding change on Wall Street last year. He was no lone voice!! Beware of IDOL worship!! Obama hasn't prooven himself capable of doing anything ,yet. Don't rush to praise him!!

Posted in: Kurara Chibana promotes warmth with Uniqlo See in context

How quickly do these "high tech" clothes decompose? As an inhabitant of this planet, I am deeply concerned. Are people wearing clothes that pose a danger to nature? And while body odor hasn't destroyed the vital ozone layer I must ask, do these clothes absorb the foul odor that a hot body produces? This young lady might look cute, but after a long hot day converting moisture to heat her "high tech" shirt might absorb her foul body odor.

It's no laughing matter , kids!! These "chemical clothes" soak up your stink and if you don't wash them immediately you'll have to throw the item away!!

Personally, I prefer "CoolMAX" which wicks my sweat away. BUT this heat tech does come in non-sporty fashion styles, so that is a point in it's favor.

Round up all the elderly at gun-point and move them to Okinawa. Force their families to travel there and spend money while visiting. That would ensure that the island survives and that the eldrly can be kept under control. Also the cheaper living will save the country money.
