That’s all good and well, but think for a moment about all of those who didn’t make it that far despite trying.

As a male, I’ve never felt that I have had a grudge against any particular retail store employee. I wonder what makes these women so worked up that they feel that they have to resort to this kind of behaviour .. ?

LOL! I’m waiting for them to bring out the new game - Coronavirus Attack! You get to chose the style and colour of your face mask and are put into crowded environments - Level 1: City streets, Level 2: Trains, Level 3: Cruise ship, Level 4: Wet market, Level 5: Dealing with patients. A great way to spend your 14 days of room isolation.

I looked through the H2A User Manual to see what the Nitrogen is used for, but am no wiser.

https://www.mhi.com/jp/products/pdf/manual.pdf

Any clues?

Nitrogen has a long association with rocket fuelsand explosives, such as nitroglycerine and TNT (trinitrotoluene). This is because nitrogen gas, N2, is extremely stable.

Posted in: Japanese firms slowly moving away from old recruitment, pay practices See in context

Some commenters here need to consider that Japan is culturally very diiferent. Things done within the country are not even comparable with ‘international’ interpretations. As an example, meetings held within companies are not opportunities for employees to give their opinions on topics raised. Instead, it is an occasion in which employees listen to those above them tell them their directives. Employees attending these regular meetings are expected to be quiet. So, workers in society in Japan are very much put in their place, and hierarchical systems continue to be the controlling structures within Japanese companies.

Wow, this is one hellova rescue mission. Just like in the movies!

Can they get out of this inescapable city in time ... before the starving masses or before infected ones get them?

The signage showing translations only has the Japanese one requesting people to alert staff if the feel the have a cold or fever.

Isn’t that ineffective?

The shopkeeper has a nerve to be so outspoken. How can he vet the customers entering anyway. Though I understand the issue with mainlander Chinese and their behaviours!!

Will boxes used to transparent music equipment undergo the same transformation?

No, I cannot see transparent music equipment in transparent boxes becoming a clear solution in the near future.

This is just a teaser marketing strategy. I wouldn’t put it past them to introduce “The Ghosn” - their biggest and widest instrument case in their new product lineup.

A poor decision of inconvenience at the last moment shows disrespect to all, and they do it because they can, despite not making the right decision earlier when they could - knowing that holding the Olympics in Japan in summer would be problematic. Incompetent fools!

Posted in: Koike remains defiant over IOC decision to move events to Sapporo See in context

The IOC stuffed up and they know it. As planning has already been put in place in Tokyo in mid-summer, and despite that stupidity, it’s too little too late. Extra plane fare expenses for players and fans is also extremely inconvenient. They could have initially chosen Sapporo or even Wakannai or Abashiri (the colder areas) but didn’t.
