Posted in: TEPCO to scrap 4 reactors at crippled nuclear plant; president hospitalized See in context

The president of TEPCO was at a hostess club at Ginza immediately after the disaster occurred. That is widely known among Japanese.

Japan should realize it got off lightly this time and see this disaster as a huge warning. With nuclear reactors on the Tokai fault line and predictions of a huge quake to hit Tokyo 27,000 dead might seem small in the future.

My J wife smoked da stuff since she was 14 and she is one of the most sane J women I have ever met. Unlike the horror stories you sometimes hear.

Posted in: Finance minister Fujii to resign due to poor health See in context

He was too old for the post to start with. And cannot believe the PM asked him to continue even after Fujii had told him he wanted to quit it.

Posted in: SDP leader wants U.S. base off Okinawa See in context

Japan and Okinawa need to both wake up and realise that they are paying their dues for a war they started as recently as 68 years ago. These dues will be continued to be paid for a long time regardless of the bickerings of a minor party.

Takashimaya just made 2000 employess redundant this week.

Now we know why more than 200,000 Japanese women work in the sex industry here. Why wouldn't you when you can make around 1 million yen plus per month.

It is amazing how little sex Japanese couples have. Friends of mine are shocked when I tell them my wife and I do it 2-3 times a week. They say they only do it once a month.

Australia is considering lowering the voting age to 16, which is a great idea as many young peple work and pay tax, and have formed political views (I had at that age). Japan is gonna seem like a real immature country if it does not lower it to 18.

"In the area of child care and education, the LDP vows to waive educational fees for children aged three to five in three years’ time".

Yeh, good one LDP, making policies for 3 years time, some help that will be, by then the birth rate would have slipped under 1.0 and Japan will be facing an unreversable death of its culture (see dangerous demographics on youtube).

Where do the LDP cronies get their ideas from?

The inside of onigiri wrappers?
