Anyone who tells me masks aren’t scientifically proven to be effective in combating the spread of this virus is still sleeping in darkness, if an infected person openly sneeze or cough in a crowded train without a mask on what will you expect ? This is common send that don’t require science to prove, my mask will help prevent me from being a super spreader just in case I carry the virus unaware, some scientists telling people not to wear mask at these times is just plain stupid, Japan has so far done well in getting things under control, considering how long this virus has been in the system, these experts handling the situation are better informed than most of us, we must applaud them for now and hope for the best

Too many criticisms on here, I don’t think Japan has done badly at all, and it’s the same people that has been in charge since day one, why can’t we trust them for once? Many weeks ago some were bragging on here as to how the CDC would have reacted well to the Diamond princess situation but now we all see what’s happening every where as most countries get their share of the situation, for me Japan’s approach has worked for Japan, I can’t complain, I’ll rather stay positive and do what I must do to help contain the situation

The doctor took two days off, I see nothing wrong with him wanting to get back to work, you have no idea how many patients he personally wanted to attend to, stop the bashing, I know in some developed countries people call in sick whiles not sick just to take a paid holiday, doctors are on the front lines and saving lives , instead of being sympathetic you chose to bash on the least opportunity u get
