The smart people will safely and easily win again. The voters are too dumb. First pandering the black votes..now for the women votes. Slam dunk. Once getting to keep the Throne (Game of), pharma and other Dem affiliated industries win bigger chunks of taxpayer money than GOP affiliated industries like the Defense (war) industries.

Paid maternity leave is a benefit introduced to encourage women to have children by countries with Low Birthrate problem. Is U.S. faced with an issue of population decrease? NO! Nice smart move by the administration to encourage inflation and steady the current economic model of continuous growth in demand (consumption). People are like sheep. Mehehehe

How many bargaining chips does one bring to the negotiating table? :-D. If people would only realize this, there wouldn't be conundrums. 1) We may or may not take back our apologies. 2) We will push international committee to call Sea of Japan as East Sea. 3) We may or may not revise our kids' history textbook. 4) you may not visit Yaskuni shrine. The list goes on and on. People. These are all BS bargaining chips nations use in negotiation tactics when discussing the real issues like trade agreements. Don't get sucked into it.

Military tensions and even some minor outbursts of battles in this region are good for the US economy. $ell billions of dollars worth of bombs, missiles, fighter jets etc. to Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines and whoever is afraid of China. Washington really needs to pay Beijing a 10% commission.

Oh, the God-mongers have infested the once militant atheist nation. A Divine punishment? The author of the editorial probably believes that any and all traffic accidents are divine justice done unto the sinners.

Europeans are laughing. Guys. This is embarassing. Wars come with rapes, systematic or not. Millions of women were raped by troops of all sides during WWII in Europe. Lucky ones lived to tell about it. It's time to put the pains of the past behind us.

It's a shame that JT is not releasing the behind the scene story as to why SK govt refused extradition. South Korea used this arsonist nut job against China for holding a Korean citizen in a Chinese prison for human rights activism. It's like saying "You release one of ours and I won't send this guy to Japan so he can be fried". And, I can't believe some of you posted things like how South Korea must be a Chinese state and crap. Are Koreans to be either pro-Japan or pro-China? They can't be looking out for their own interest?

That was a point ot the story, folks. Japan and South Korea must sign an FTA. |t is a crime against Mother Earth to ship the car parts 8,000 miles to USA, have them assembled into cars, then ship the cars back 8,000 miles back across the Pacific to sell them in Asia.

The USA and South Korea have a free trade agreement in place. Japan and South Korea do not. In Seoul, a Honda Civic from Japan would cost about the same as a Toyota Venza from USA because of the tarrifs put on the Civic. Nationalism aside, do you guys think this is right? This is happening all over the world.

Okay, the "official" reason for postponing the signing of the accord is public sentiment. The "real" reason is probably CHINA. The #1 trade partner of South Korea is China. SK's trade with China is larger than its combined trade with US and EU. You don't want to anger your number one customer! Hello, guys, THINK!

Oh come on. It was obviously a comedic advertisement. Anyone who have traveled to SK would know that the Koreans abhor the table manners of their Asian neighbors for grabbing and holding bowls/plates in their hands while eating. In Korea, you cannot. All dishware must stay on the table and you pick up food with spoons, fork, & chop sticks.
