interestingly all protestors in the picture seem to be over 60. think that tells you something about how divorced they are from the real world.

just tell the states to get lost, and stop their whining. that country supported terrorist attacks in the uk for a long time,so they can just suck it up. furthermore the guy in question had nothing to do with lockerbie bombing anyway it appears. they should spend their time following the saudi government involvement in 9/11 but cant see that happening can you?

Posted in: Why Japanese property managers are so strict on renting apartments See in context

sure everyone has these stories, but the banks are the same. my j wife and I were approved for loan and signed a land purchase contract on basis of this. after this yamagata bank then said they wouldnt loan to foreigners and said the joint loan had to be only in my wifes name.how can this be described as anything other than racism? anyway, they eventually accepted the joint loan after much harassment from us ,but itwe dont have an insurance company underwriting our loan to the bank as they refused to do it if a foreigner is involved. ceo of yamagata bank is also head of yamagatas japan/eu friendship society.when i mentioned this at the meeting in front of 100 people he started laughing.what a joke.

Posted in: Immigration fight in U.S. will fire up wrong base See in context

this article is nonsense.

the problem with the law is that it makes a large % of the population of arizona criminals based on the colour of their skin. illegal immigration needs to be stopped but that is not the intention of this bill.if they wanted to stop illegal immigration they should fine the companies employing them.but of course the republicans wont do that. they want it both ways-cheap workers and demonising those they are encouraging to come and employing. you know during the boom a few yrs ago the big companies would send buses down to mexico city to bus in illegals?? most ironic is that quite a number of the people who are now demonized under the law are descendents of people who have been living in arizona a lot longer than white people have.

its common policy for them to cover problems up and lie. they seem to have known about this for 7yrs. its their 8th recall for it.

in japan after a seperate steerage problem caused a death j police discovered toyota had been convering the problem up for almost 10yrs

theres a design fault and it would look likely that this is a electrics issue not the pedal. its incredible how long theyve managed to hide this. what is also interesting is it isnt news in japan i wonder why

i think the complainer had a valid point. youre making a dish just for tv ? that could be seen as fraud-he had a legitimate right to expect they would make it if he went there. refusing to pay and saying didnt taste like i expected is nonsense though

I don't have any problem with the guy drinking on his weekend off. I do have a problem with his smashing a glass door and trespassing. Demote him and fine him ( and make him pay for the door).

i believe saitama police dept should be checking with sarge first about whats acceptable or not before giving out any punishment

michael todd another option would have been if you could get custody to take off wifes koseki and make a sep koseki just for the child.

cicada:she also has dual citizenship.

to michael g todd/ foreigners cant have their own koseki. name on the koseki decideds name of the child. once you are divorced you are off her koseki . thus japanese parent controls child and childs name. its a system originally started in the 16th century to discriminate against christians and is still being used for that purpose today. korea abolished their system recently and japan needs to as well

Posted in: American arrested in Fukuoka for kidnapping own kids from ex-wife See in context

are you japanese?? if not your name will not be on the koseki why did you agree to have it removed. 50/50 share doesnt happen in japan thats why she went to the states and thats why she threatened him that he would never see his kids unless she gave him a huge settlement, when his pharm company hit the jackpot i agree money was hers as well but so were the kids.
