Excellent news for Toyota! Their Hilux pickup trucks are just undestroyable. This is the best free advertising Toyota could ever have and the whole world is talking about it. Hilux with DShK heavy machine gun mounted on it were already operated by an Afghan private security company in 2010. So, nothing new here.

Good progress there; they have finally realized what a great man Putin is. But why put sanctions on Russia and then ask them to sort out the mess in Ukraine? It is Ukraine's internal problem; they should sort it out themselves.

I just can't get it. People who wanted their freedom from Russia on the Maidan were called freedom fighters. People who want their freedom from the West in Dontesk are called terrorists. Something is off here!

@lucabrasi: You see, that makes the whole situation even worse since she needs to buy them from ??? North Korea???. We could just directly donate the money to North Korea then instead of making such detours.

Our tax money is well spent to support Timoschenko's plan to kill all remaining 8 million Russians with nuclear weapons. Have they all lost their minds? The only one thinking straight in the whole story here is Putin.

I always learnt that Neo-Nazis and fascists were bad. It was them we saw demonstrating on the Maidan and who would go on demonstrating in the middle of winter for 3 months on a square? Most people need to work to make a living and conditions are not that great in Ukraine.Yet those people could afford this vacation and even have money enough to pay for gasoline used in molotow cocktails. Does that even make sense? Would you do that unless you maybe got paid by some higher authority. But it turns out that the majority of our politicians think differently. So, it must be ok now to overthrow legally established governments nowadays, but referendums by people are illegal now. What message are they really sending out there? Klitchko, the next to be president of Ukraine, is being sponsored by the German Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and his party is partnered with the CDU. Doesn't that explain everything? The money donated by Japan should have gone to the people in temporary housing in Fukushima and never to Ukraine.

Putin just did the speech of his life. The world hasn't seen a leader like him since Alexander the Great. The world needs someone like him; he should become the world's leader then we would live in a fair world. All the best to Mr Putin, be strong and show everyone who you are! I truly respect you! Look at the comments on the internet; the majority of the people worldwide support Putin.

@tmarie - I think Japan gets gas from Russia too, so how will I cook dinner soon? To be democratic, there should be a referendum in Japan too whether we agree with putting sanctions on Russia or not. In the end, we normal citizens will have to pay the price.

Japan should stay out of this, it has nothing to do with this problem. On Sunday, another referendum will take place in Venice to get independence from Italy and NATO. And Scotland will held its referendum on independence from the rest of the UK in September, and Catalonia, where around half the population say they want to break away from Spain. It looks like Japan has to make many more sanctions in the future.

Before putting sanctions on Russia, the EU should have a referendum about that if they want to be democratic. Many people would suffer from these sanctions, so it would only be fair to everyone to have a referendum. Letting a few politicians decide our fate is undemocratic. Let's fight for our rights!

As far as I know an emperor should be addressed 'His Imperial Majesty' in order to distinguish the status of an emperor from that of a king/queen, who are simply styled Majesty (HM) or Royal Majesty (HRM).

I agree with SimonB, Iran hasn't done anything at all. It is always painted as a dangerous country with presumably deadly weapons. But have we ever seen them? No. It reminds me of the weapons of mass destructions in Irak. Instead of everyone going against Iran, they should work with Iran, then all the problems would be solved.
