When I hear or read the word "race", it does automatically sound wrong.

Genetic decoding proved that "race" does not exist like we see in the animal world.

Posted in: The banning of Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' may have been justified in the early years after the war, but now we have a totally different situation. 'Mein Kampf' has no magical qualities. It is a badly writt See in context

"where a manga version has become a minor hit." a manga? do they have a hello kitty version of Bergen-Belsen?

More seriously, I read a copy of "Mein Kampf". Didn't learn much out it and I didn't became a fervent National Socialist after that. It is not a dangerous book. The problem is the nuts believing what is written in it...

Posted in: Should JAL be saved? See in context

If JAL goes down, many satellite companies go down as well. I guess it's the reason they keep feeding the monster. They should downsize it to give satellite companies time to recycle or disappear, cancel many Boeing orders to suit the new situation, then finally keep 2 or 3 jets for museums. I like their service but everything has an end.

Posted in: Celebrity drug offenders face public humiliation See in context

If you want to be a celebrity, want to carry an image of a perfect mom, show how beautiful and smarter you are, you should assume the consequences.

Big deal if she is doing drugs? Maybe for her. She is not mugging old ladies for their pensions? She is not but what about the regular hard drug users that loose it and are not paid millions of yen for commercials?

Public humiliation? No problem for me. Just do it.
