The Japanese government paid for a big chunk of that project. So you debt hawks, railing on about how Japan's massive fiscal debt is threatening the economy at home, here's some insight: your tax money is being spent so that Turks have better transport access.

So when Japan's economy collapses from its crushing debt (which you're predicting), you'll know who to blame.

In the last 50 years Turkish government paid millions of yen to Japanese companies to build bridges and tunnels. Also they are helping when a japanese company wants to enter Turkish market. Just this year Sumitomo, Daikin and Nissin started building their new factories there. So when japanese economy collapse from its crushing debt, we will be the ones supporting Japan.

willib/ seriously dude? u do believe everything u say here? did u really read Kur' an? did u search of the life of Hz. Muhammed? did u know he banned slavery as one of the first things of Islam(by saying a man should get on his knees and bow his head only to the will of Allah) and freed thousands of slaves from the non muslims Arabs of the time. did u know that the first one to read Ezan(the call for prayers) was a freed slave? did u know that Hz. Muhammed declared the same free slave as his step son and arranged a marriage between that freed slave and Hz. Muhammed's cousin? did u even cared about these stuff before writing here? sorry pal but I only see prejudice in your comments here. I repeat once again. killing another human being and slavery are forbidden in Islam. though u are right on sth.Kur'an indeed says that if a man tries to kill you or tries to destroy your homeland, then u have right to "DEFEND" yourself. and if u die trying so, ur place will be heaven. but AGAIN it does NOT say anything about killing is right or it does NOT say you can freely kill anyone you want. its the people like Hassan Sabbah that created this effect. people who wanted power and total domination over the minds of mere people interpreted the meanings of surahs in the Kur'an.

sorry for the long post btw. thx for reading.

In my heart I don't want to believe its a religious attack, but so far everything show it is indeed looks like one. as a muslim, im sorry for the loss and pray for his soul. when I hear news like this, I'm always saddened by the loss of others and get shocked for the prejudice of the people against Islam and muslims. to tell the truth i don't know which Kur'an that those attackers or other muslim extremists read but the one I read was keep advicing people to: have a peaceful life, don't lie, don't steal, always show respect to your elders and protect the youngs, forgive other people as Allah gave created all of us ( Hz. Muhammed the Prophet forgave the non muslims who caused great pains to him him and killed his dear uncle) And NEVER AND EVER kill another human being as no human has the right to take the life that Allah gave(in Kur' an it say s only Allah can take back the things as He is the one giving everything). Im not an Arab and my country doe s not ruled by shariah. so I don't have much knowledge about stoning people to death or cutting heads. but from what I know those traditions are pre islamic death sentences used around arabic lands at the time.

In the most optimistic way, they digged fresh graves or took the bodies of deceased joe doe's inthe morgue then cut their heads and hands so that they wont recognised. In the end they can even create the terror w/o bloodshed. Or maybe im just thinking too much and didnt lose my hope on humankind, who knows...

Well I was laughing while reading thjs and I made my fiance to read it too :d for them us gaijins are honmani muzukashi to understand as I always act with my feelings.when I first started dating w/my fiance we were always arguing that she was being too shy to hold hands in ohblic or about her reply as "i like you" when I was saying "i love you".for me it was really hard to understand the meanimg of daisuki and for her it was too hard to understand I was keel saying that k love her. But after 5years,now she keeps saying that she love me and accusing me of not saying enough love words to her anymore>_>but with trying to understand each other and by knowing that there will always be a culture difference between each other will solve many problems. I guess having a long distance relationship for more than 3years and still trusting each other helps too. Also never forgett that trulying loving and caring about each other is whats the key for a happy marriage.

So far usa brought peace&democracy to iraq&afghanistan;NATO brought peace to libya, right? Then i wonder the reason for why local people of those countries still suffering? I dont u guys but i feel like most of us forget the fact that we are all human. Everyone tries to create their own kingdom while trying to destroying innocent lives. I dont care taliban nor usa;for me theyr like small kids who likes to play war games at the cost of innocent lives&blood. Every war, every fight &all ideologies are used for getting more power.

And 1.5million armenians who died according to armenian government

especially if u consider that the number of death is more than the number of armenians who lived in anatolia back then according to american admiral who visited those cities before the holocaust. except if only armenians learned how to reproduce themselves like the mushrooms.

And i talk as a descendant whose forefathers fought in ww1 and turkish independence war. im not saying that it didnt happen at all. im not saying noone died and everyone was singing and dancing during that time. if armenians have proof that ottoman started the fight with armenian civilians then they should accept the council and prove it. otherwise its only their point of view, not the fact! i dont know how u'r being raised there but our history teaches us sth while urs teach sth else. pls i beg armenian goverment and historians to accept this council if they really right about this subject and prove their rightness in front of the world, so my grandkids will know and learn the truth that noone told to us or to u. War is sth that never changes even by the aeons of time and always the innocent gets hurt. so if u want to have prejudice then u can have it as much as u want. just dont start bullshitting w/o searching the truth as i know very well that noone ahould really trust their nation's history books w/o reading different sources. with kind regards & respect to all deaths.

The thing that most of the people forget is that turkish goverment offered a council of historians which consists of armenian european and turkish to gather all the historic data they have about that time. and so far armenia ignored it by saying turkey should accept holocaust before gathering that council. i dont know you guys but if i was right on sth and if i really had proof in my hands then i would have jumped to the.opportunity of winning this debate which is keep being repeating for the last90 years. another thing:after ww1 america sent their amiral to check what was going on the east part of turkey and count the population there. it was proven by him that it was armenian thugs raiding towns and burning homes at first. thus leading to their forcefull immigration. and i guess i dont need to talk about russian or british interventions during ww. İt was war and all the countries conspired against each other. One last thing. the sources and pictures that armenians show to prove holocaust are the same pictures that turkish history books show as the proof the violence of the armenians thugs that raided towns. in this point i want to ask again why armenia do not want to make a council to prove their rightness? Ps:im writing from mobile. sorry for any typo
