Japanese also have a bad habit with talking about other people in front of them, thinking that they will not understand.

They mostly do this toward other Asian tourists.

FIrst, Japanese in the big cities are very cold hearted that very few would actually help one of their own people if they were suffering.

Second of all, the balloon accident had nothing to do with Japanese aloofness of world street smarts.

And third of all, yes there are a major problem with gypsies kids being taught to steal in France and Italy. They find East Asian tourists the most easy targets and even tried to pickpocket me because I looked East Asian....boy were they in on a surprise when I yelled at them in French and Italian, depending on which country it happened.

I seem to recall hjat most natural way marriages end up in divorces anyway.

You have no right to demonize two people wishing to be together just becaue they are of the same sex.

I hope you know that Spain is hardly a nanny state.....it is has the least generous welfare programsaong the EU.

The biggest welfare states are the Nordic countries and they are not in big debt like the Spaniards.

It pays to do you homework.

I cannot believe right wingers are actually glad that it went down.

I was surprised Blomberg even supported supported this since he is a republican turned into independent.

Of course, even if it went affect it still gave the customers the rigjt for refills (which most countries do not and thus have lower levels of obesity).

Dear LORD!

New York and the federal government are not trying to ban all guns!

Just most semi-automatic and all automatic weapons (assault weapons) from unregulated civilian use!!!!!

And tough registry laws!

If you are a law abiding handgun owner and do not have a criminal record, then you are SAFE from having your weapons taken away!

Honestly, the NRA needs to stop spreading this paranoia propaganda!

I never said it gets rid of crime, just that it limits the amount of gun violence.

Compared to the US, the UK and Australia have low gun violence.

Now you are just spouting things without even reading properly.

To bad that the US cannot follow Canada's gun control laws.

Where you have to right to bear arms, but not assault weapons and with stricter background checks!

A perfect balance of respecting the right to bear arms while passing good gun control laws with less gun violence, especially if you compare it to the US.

Posted in: Obama: Gun control specifics to come within days See in context

I am an American and I find it apalling how people try to claim they have the right to assault weapons!

The second amendment only says that you have the right to bear arms, it does not say you cannot ban certain "arms" that are not necessary to have (weapons that are meant for war).

You will still have the right to bear handguns!

What Obama wants to do is try to limit or even ban assault and automatic weapons (war weapons).

I say that it is a good start....of course, I doubt much will come out of it sadly.

Considering that Zimmerman refused to obey orders from dispatchers not to follow him.....I would suspect that he initiated the fight and Martin used self defense because Zimmerman may have threatened or tried to do harm because he was that much of a hardhead (he refused to follow police's orders for crying out loud).

And really....Fox News? I know that he told his "story" there but really?

Technically, Greece is not doing so well with its services.....but it is not because of healthcare. It has a older generation and not enough young people working to pay the taxes.

But overall, you are correct.

This law will make it so that most people will not go bankrupt and able to receive preventative care since their insurance has to pay for most preventive care with no co-pays.

Posted in: US high court upholds heart of Obama health law See in context

Healthcare is a basic need because if people do not have adequate care, then they will wait until they the critical point when it is most expensive for hospitals to treat in a emergency and since they cannot pay the bill, the cost would bankrupt that person or would shift to you when you have to go to the hospital because they raised the bill!

That is why healthcare is so expensive!

They are socialistic because they are paid for by the federal, state, and local governments.

Someone has not been using a definition.

Most Americans dislike the current healthcare system while still not exactly being too thrilled with the mandate while still supporting most of the law's provisions!

Not all jobs provide health insurance.

Otherwise, we would not be having 50 million Americans un-insured.

Conservatives as in Republicans.

It is not socialism since we are relying on private insurance with government subsidies to the poor and middle class to help afford the premium.

And you do realize that Social Security, public roads, public schools, postal service, police, and firefighters would be considered socialism, right?

How idiotic to try to use "socialism" to input fears since it is not the same as communism.

I am glad that the law was upheld for the most part. I have acquintances who were laid off from their jobs and lost their health insurance! This law will give them a chance to get affordable insurance.

What is also ironic is how the conservatives are calling this "socialism" when they are in fact living "socialism" since their health insurance is paid for by the gasps government!

This law will make it so that US Senators and US Representatives will have to receive health insurance from their home state insurance exchange sites just like the rest of us.

A wise choice so that our elected representatives will understand us regular folks plight with finding affordable health insurance.

Obama is only letting young illegals to stay in America if they were brought here as children by their illegal immigrant parents, guys.

These are the type of people Obama is letting stay. Especially if they have attended school here and plan to achieve higher education or have a job without commiting any major crime.

I doubt Romney will win against Obama....He used to somewhat pro-choice and somewhat of a moderate Republican from Massachusetts.....then all of sudden changed into a "pro-life" politicians and speaking out like a far right Republican. That shows that he does flip flop on issues just to insure political success.

And I do not think most rational women would want Republicans to be in the majority power due to this stunt they have done:

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/06/us/politics/senate-republicans-block-pay-equity-bill.html?ref=us

That and they also want to cut funding for Planned Parenthood, despite it helping poor women's healths.

Neither side should have received out of state funding but unfortunately, the Republicans receive the most from out of state.

60% of Walker's campaign money came from out of STATE.

A state election should not receive money from people who do not even live in that STATE!

I find it sad just how much money talks in politics.
