Should have taken the elevator if you have a walker

The nazis did th esame thing less than a hundred years ago and we are letting it happen again. What the hell is wrong with the world?

That's less than I thought to be fair.

Posted in: Blinken urges Israel and Hamas to move ahead with cease-fire deal See in context

What's the point? Israel has already said they won't honour any ceasefire and go ahead with their plans to continue the invasion regardless. There's only so many times you can wag your finger at someone who keeps doing misdeeds to before everyone loses respect for you, but America wants everything Israel has to offer so we're just gonna let this genocide happen until it's all done and a people and culture are wiped off the map I guess.

Posted in: Japan anime studio draws on talent of autistic artists See in context

Sounds like bliss! Japan is great for foreign autistics like me but it must be terrible for native born Japanese autistics.I would love to work there. Shame my drawing isn't very good

If you are still on X by this point you're probably not intelligent enough to read this article let alone understand it.

Posted in: Digitalization drive proving tough for Japanese school teachers See in context

Just give up. The ojiichans and old boys don't want it and as long as one teacher rejects it the school won't take to it. Once they have gone then there's a chance but this stubborn generation is causing all the problems and living the longest.

Interviewed? or Brown nosed so hard he'll be washing fudge out of his ears for months?

Posted in: Award-winning author's AI use revelation roils Japan's literary world See in context

I get the concern but it's a ridiculous argument if you ask me. People are going to use AI, even writers. As long as they are infusing any AI input with their own ideas and creativity then there is no problem. I think if someone published something that was entirely or mostly written by AI we would know something is off and it wouldn't be popular. It's not like AI art which blatantly rips off artists' work.

Posted in: Netflix unveils 2024 slate led by sci-fi from 'Thrones' creators See in context

The Three Body Problem books are my favourite SF trilogy; they blew my mind many times and cured a lot of my existential dread, so if there is one thing that scares me more than the insignificance of humanity in the face of the immense, cold infinity of the cosmos it is the Games of Thrones writers making the TV series.

Posted in: Foreign-born Miss Japan sparks debate on what it means to be Japanese See in context

Different day, same old racist rubbish. They'd be applauding her if she was a winner of the olympics or boosted the economy. I wouldn't validate any opinion from anyone who is still on Twitter.

Posted in: Japan’s biggest dating app says young people not interested in romance; creates AI girlfriend app See in context

What reason do people have to breed? It's hard to want to bring children into a world that's this terrible and still declining rapidly. I don't blame anyone... To me, this app looks like a good way of studying Japanese

For a country that has such a large, senior population, Japan sure is ignorant of its realities. The doctor should be awarded.

Still waiting for the shot by shot Home Alone remake with an inexpicable adult Kevin in an otherwise normal casting that will surely make over a billion dollars and be one of the funniest movies ever made.

He obviously never played GTA. You should't steal ambulances. They are too slow and heavy. Always go for a police car or taxi

Shame. It's actually the best Marvel movie for a long while. It's still a plague on cinema that should end but it doesn't deserve the hate it's getting.
