Posted in: Gravure model NFT series wants to attract online investors, real-world visitors for hot springs See in context

What if I just take a screenshot of the photo I want and there. I already have the photo I wanted.

Now, if they were to also send me a printed photo like in a canvas or something physical I can display. That with the NFT code would make a better business model.

But that's just my opinion; someone who will never understand why would ANYONE ever spend big figures just for a code of a photo that no one else will ever see nor read.

Posted in: No. of suicides in Japan increased 8,000 due to pandemic: study See in context

Hard to understand why people do that. Its great to be alive.

It is super freaking amazing to be alive.

But there are times in life when we hit rock bottom. Happens to everyone.

But specifically during the pandemic, after losing your all your jobs and with no hopes of the industry getting back. That combined with losing all contacts with friends due to the pandemic (no more social gatherings with people), with no one to talk, could lead some people to some dark corners in their minds. Then make a wrong decision.

I know because that was my case. I had suicidal thoughts in 2021. Thing that has never happened to me before. Obviously I realized that like you mentioned, it's great to be alive. But yeah, those dark corners in people's minds during not the greatest times could lead some to make the wrong decision.

I mean there really should be laws against this!!!

One thing that could be done, instead of laws is to have better sex education.

But in the end, people's decisions, be good or bad are up to each of us.

China had laws against having more than one child. If you were to have laws against what you stated above, you'd have to go full China, have forced abortions and other inhuman practices.

Abe's killer will not go down history only as a murderer and the life he took. But also as the guy who opened Pandora's box.

I use light pink and light gray. Both pretty neutral and easy to look at.

China doesn't want others to build any defences but they are totally fine firing missiles into those others' regions. Hypocrites.

Make a whole carpet of THAAD from South Korea, to Taiwan and Japan.

Kishida wants to be seen "doing (tho more like saying) something" but not really solving anything.

Just like Abe did when that Dentsu employee jumped.

Just like politicians and municipal staff did after Yua Funato's death.

Just another lip service.

it is time to proliferate peace

That's exactly what we've been doing all these 77 years. Otherwise we would have been living in a fallout world at the moment.

Posted in: Snickers owner apologizes after referring to Taiwan as a country See in context

Have those outraged Internet users complained and posted when they got evicted from their own apartments to be converted into Covid quarantine zones, their people starved to death?

Their small kids separated from their parents and thrown into whatever room. Their families thrown into empty rooms with no water services like detention camps because "Covid prevention."

Have they complained about those arrested for speaking their frustrations publicly during lockdowns, or bout students locked in Beijing University dorms?

Didn't think so.

A simple warning, a simple advice such as "don't go eating poisonous mushroom" is twisted into some political conpiracy theory.

I guess the answer to the question is yes, the world is becoming more political.

Since China's CCP invented the Global Virus, they've probably shared some sort of cure with NK

Their current Covid zero "strategy" would prove the opposite (about a cure).

If not even China's zero Covid worked with their extreme measures, there's no way NK could eliminate the virus.

Women undervalued in Japan? Yes. Japan has always been a machista country. But low birth blamed on ignorance and indifference on a in the male-dominated Japanese parliament; she's barking at the wrong tree.

There's a lot involved, probably most noticable the fact you need both partners working to stay afloat.
