I’d agee with that although I don’t have to worry, all of the work parties are always for ‘natives only’ even though there’s only one ‘non-native’ working there!

Posted in: First Wuhan COVID case days later than initially reported: scientist See in context

@Haaa Nemui… you know where Wuhan is? It’s just under 1000k from the ocean! Not a very fresh ‘sea food’ market if it was a sea food market. I lived in China for several years, the animal markets are shocking…..they sell pretty much every wild animal you could imagine in shocking conditions and all for eating…..all alive as well.

Posted in: First Wuhan COVID case days later than initially reported: scientist See in context

Wuhan is the only place in China where they study AND mutilate the family of corona viruses. The bats that this virus originated from are not found in Wuhan, they are found thousands of kilometres away. The French (cofounders of the Wuhan lab) quit the lab in Wuhan because of the lax safety standards… then, I wonder if the pandemic originated from a market just around the corner from the lab? Any where else it could have come from?

How’s he managed to do a press conference when he’s supposed to be in a 15 day quarantine?

Has the prime minister started his 15 day quarantine after returning from the UK?

He’s so concerned about the climate they sent a 777 to Scotland 2 weeks ago just to ‘practise’ landing at the airports there. Then he took two planes to Scotland yesterday, you couldn’t make it up! Will he be quarantining for 2 weeks alone or will the whole flight crew quarantine together?

If he did it because he wanted the death penalty he should get life in solitary confinement…..

Are they using face recognition cameras in the stations? Seems strange that he’d be recognised so quickly when he ‘pulled his face mask down’…..

The booster jab is just a single jab, why have they ordered 320 million jabs for a population of around 120 million???

Generally, I don’t agree with the death penalty but I’d wave my opinions in the case where a 2 month old has been beaten to death. What an absolute low life.

Racism, unfortunately FIFA is not interested unless they can get some publicity from it. Nothing will happen…..however, do something to upset a sponsor and they’d throw the book at you.

Posted in: Farmer referred to prosecutors for killing protected crane See in context

I guess they were about to walk into his field as he’d need to be a decent shot to hit a flying crane twice with a air rifle. Although he was obviously in the wrong why charge him when he reported it? Next time he’ll chuck it in the river rather than report it.

Posted in: Visually impaired Paralympian hit by self-driving bus See in context

That tells you all you need to know about Japanese drivers. He was at a pedestrian crossing and the bus stopped automatically….but as most Japanese drivers never stop at pedestrian crossings the human overruled the bus and hit a blind/partially sited person. The person who overruled the bus stopping should be charged with dangerous driving resulting in injury at the very least.

I take my kids (9 yo & 12 yo) there regularly, I’ve never seen anyone swimming there, it’s not a part of the river for swimming….only fishing and throwing stones etc. I saw the police and fire trucks there yesterday & guessed someone had jumped from the bridge which happens all to often.
