Favorite part about this is TEPCO's reaction to market deregulation by offering discounts inverse to how little energy a user uses - as in, the more of their product you use, the less you pay per unit.
Then again, even with an opened market, its not really certain that consumers will actually veer from the standard path that they've been on for so long. Wait & see, I guess.

And then there was that weird story about the 19 y.o. murdering his grandparents over an allowance. Got a weird feeling I should prepare to see a lot of really over-the-top crimes between the young & old in the pretty near future.
