only idiots support Trump. He is an SOB and fascist. Does not care about anyone but himself. LeBron asked for it as he attacked Trump and anyone who says anything negative about him gets attacked. Trump only creates division and one can see the idiotic supporters even here on these posts.

Posted in: Outrage as WWII sex slave memorial removed in Manila See in context

There are many atrocities that happen every day of every year in this world that could warrant a statue for each one. To make a big deal about some sex slaves from 70 years ago is unfair to all citizens of the world as it takes time away from dealing with the current sex slave phenomena with human trafficking. It is a complete joke to keep on discussing this further. What is done is done and one little statue will do nothing for anyone.

Posted in: Trump rips into media, not Clinton See in context

Trump never wanted to win the Presidential campaign. It was all a ploy to raise his standings for the TV networks that had lost ratings in his previous shows like the Apprentice. He never knew he would get this far and now that he has he will be able to make more money after the election. All of these crazy comments and lies he makes are just to make sure he does not get elected. There is much more going on behind the scenes and as always the public gets easily duped into believing this game that Trump has created. Hilary Clinton will be winning for sure unless her confidential emails gaff becomes a bigger problem than Trump's problems though that is unlikely. If Trump was ever elected there would be a revolution unlike anything seen since the American Cival War that ended in 1865.

They are responsible for the death of more then 20 million Asian civilians and thus have killed more Asians then any other nation in history, Asian or not, has.

Well this is not true as Mao Tse Tung indirectly and directly killed 70 million Chinese during his reign.

whatever the number is, we all know that at least one women and likely more were forced into prostitution by the JPA. Deep down we know what happened but so many people are ashamed to admit the truth. The sickness is growing in Japan as is evident by their treatment of women and children in the porn industry. Everyone knows that Japan has the sickest pornography on the planet. The icing is on the wall. Apologize and be done with this nonsense.

Posted in: How come Japan has never demanded an official apology from any U.S. government for the dropping of atomic bombs on two of its cities? In fact, why don't Japanese hate America for dropping the bombs? See in context

I read most of these comments and many are interesting and factual but not one I found yet has hit the point. First everyone has to keep in mind that all of this is pure politics so lets place ourselves in the politician's chair. First up on the agenda is China and Korea and what he/she has to deal with that every day. Let alone all the other issues from the past which can drum up untold consequences the biggest fish on the plate is China and for this is the #1 reason followed by Korea as #2 reason to not accept an apology. Once Japan accepts the apology then it will be the turn of China and Korea to get their apologies (again i know but again and again). Japan would be stepping into the China and Korea shoes and doing the same thing that the Japanese are telling the Chinese and Koreans to stop pestering them about the past. There is no right or wrong here --just politics--and most of these comments are from normal citizens who think with normal human emotions which are far removed from the money empire of politics.

Posted in: More than half of Chinese see war with Japan: poll See in context

All this rhetoric is nonsense as the assumptions arising out of 'normal' human thought concerning separation of countries is the first divide that starts to create a feeling of difference between peoples. Once everyone starts thinking as one world/one earth type of mentality then there will always be hostilities. This may seem like a utopia to some and a dream that is not possible, but let's not forget all of the great men and women like Martin Luther King and Gandhi who could reform our backwards thinking. So let's take a step back and look upon any nation as the Chinese and Japanese as our brothers and sisters. Everyone needs to start from some central spot at core human understanding with immense feeling that crosses over borders. Otherwise we get into these stupid disputes and do not clear them up as best we can. Some may call this a dream and yet others are and will take action to do something righteous.

yes exactly--the people who take these pills are just lazy to consider doing the right approach to losing weight. One thing is certain and it will require one to either eat less or exercise more to lose the calories from eating. Also there are unique characteristics of each person and some people just put on more weight as they absorb more water than normal people.

This is terribly sad news. The point is that these are children doing this and not adults who can justifiably kill themselves as they like. Children are supposed to be innocent and have a new world opening for them. I feel so bad for them since I am sure something could have been done--maybe just a day trip to Disneyland may have helped. This is all screwed up.

Posted in: U.N. issues fresh call to Japan over WWII 'comfort women' See in context

yes that is right Zichi. Japan has to make the next move in this game of chess. There are many egos to deal with which is really the main problem. I know that other countries like China have issues with past behavior but still the world needs to evolve quickly and to apologize is fine but you can see in this article that there will be more money needed!!!! Money, money and money. The whole system is screwed up on all the sides but at least Japan can be an example and do the right thing to move past this.

Nothing much seems to change in Japan but possibly this UN Watchdog group will have some influence. I know Japan has apologized and paid lots of money but this issue will never go away unless Japan apologizes unambiguously so that we do not need to read these stupid articles every day and just we can all live in peace with our Asian neighbors.

Posted in: 57 Fukushima children suffering from thyroid cancer See in context

Let's get some of the facts for estimates in USA people which should not be too far off from any other race, but what do I know--this is a start.

The American Cancer Society’s estimates for thyroid cancer in the United States for 2014 are: About 62,980 new cases of thyroid cancer (47,790 in women, and 15,190 in men) About 1,890 deaths from thyroid cancer (1,060 women and 830 men)

Let's say the USA has about 300M people so 60,000/300,000,000 100% = 1/50,000 100% = 0.0002% (i didnt use calculator so i think this is right).

Now use this fact:

About 2% of thyroid cancers occur in children and teens.

2% of 0.0002% is 0.000004% (also im doing this in my head so anyone can double check.)

Now take 4x10E-6 and times by Fukushima area children's population and you will get your answer on how many kids should have thyroid cancer.

Fukushima prefecture has a population of 2,030,463, of which 385,940 persons are under 20 years of age.1

Now I do not have population for let's say children under 10 so let's guestimate that half of 385k would be this approx number: 192.5k = 200k. We use simple numbers. So 200k children in Fushima area.

4x10E-6 * 2(10E5) = 8x10E-1 = 0.8 children!

Now the article says 57 and my approx number is 1. We are closing in on what is normal but I suggest someone now use the exact figures since by error it is possible I am off by 10X. If I would have came out to a number that is 100X different then I would have concluded that these thyroid cases are because of the nuclear issue in Fukushima. If this difference of about 57 times between theoretical levels and actual then the Fukushima radiation levels are definitely the cause.

Why can't the media make this clear as it is so simple and yet I had to do this.

So many delicious drugs out there. Also what is wrong with sleeping until noon? Yes I know it is a lazy attitude but if the person is awake until 4AM then all they slept was 8 hours. Everything is relative including this Obamacare. Send more people to the hospital and create more sick people--hospitals are for those who like being sick. Take some drugs and feel better then there will be no need to go to the hospital.

Posted in: Hashimoto says allied soldiers raped women after D-Day See in context

The point is whether Japan has military brothels now at this time. The answer of course is no. They do not exist and will never exist for Japan in the near term. It is impossible to say what the future is but this pumping out of past knowledge will generate a feeling among people to rape others if a war situation ever rises again as a kind of revenge. People should not be changed and that includes countries. We tried to change Iraq and see what happened. Iran also did not work out and China is also a country out of balance. Japan is one of the few countries in the world that has the perfect system albeit a big Nuclear problem on their hands. Ok Japanese people do not like to admit their mistakes from history times, but so what, there is no harm being done now to people except all this historical nonsense talk. Again this is all money related issues--Korea and China want money from Japan to feed themselves and also to destabilize he country. All the idiots here think it is about sex slavery because that is what humans care about but under the scenes there is much more darkness going on.

"Both China and South Korea have long sought compensation for women victimised in the wartime brothels."

See these countries are just seeking financial aid and of course there is the ego satisfaction of being correct after complaining for such a long time. Imagine if every human on the earth had to reconcile with all their past actions like being a bully in school, stealing, domestic violence, rape maybe for some, killing for mafia types and so on. It would be a huge list and then where would we be? Well we would all be angry, sad and depressed. These countries are all depressed and sick and thus they require more grotesqueness to feel better about themselves. China should first stop eating every living thing that walks or flies and maybe they will get some more respect from me and also stop spitting on the floor at restaurants and talking like animals in the subway. It is clear we are dealing with animals and not humans.

Spiritual awareness is such a fluffy word. There is no real substance to it except as just being a word. There is a spirit of course but this can not be documented so it will never enter into the scientific program. One step at a time for man kind. What if we talk about the Self? That inner radiant being which is complete in itself. It is there but we can not prove it except on our own. In this regards the best medicine is to give people meditation and let them make their own discoveries.

Posted in: Aerobics for the brain? Fitness experts praise mindfulness meditation See in context

Not true at all. Meditation by itself will lead to spiritual awareness. We are naturally spiritual beings whether we have an awareness of it or not. Meditation is a tool and as such all tools will need to be eventually discarded once one finds themselves and at this point the meditation happens on its own. There will be no need to be aware of the breath as the awareness will go to the place that it naturally flows to as a river flows down stream.

everything is a finite resource on this planet so future tech has to rely on sun for the greatest power or the heat coming from the earth though technically the sun is the strongest unless we can build a fusion reactor that powers itself like the sun. Nuclear power is just a temporary fix which has long-term consequences and only those who are greedy bastards think about using this.
