Zones2surf;

Just for your information, GM, Ford and Chrysler are all in Japan. Chrysler even has a dealership in my city. So, before you start Japan bashing get your facts straight!

Posted in: Johnny Depp's wife charged with smuggling dogs into Australia See in context

Good for Australia. These laws are in place for reason, and just because you think you're special and they don't apply to you. You're wrong. I hope they set an example with Them both. And Amber, you took one for the team. If Johnny Depp was charged with a crime in Australia, he would not be able to enter Australia, and there fore unable to finish his movie.

Posted in: Lower house OKs security bills despite opposition boycott See in context

Everybody needs to give the past a rest. Japan needs to change with the times, and with China doing what China does best, Japan needs to be in a better position to effectively defend its territory. As some of you have expressed the way the bill was passed could of been handle with a little more feness. But this bill is in the best interest of defending Japan from very hostile and unpredictable neighbours.

Posted in: Toyota's American PR chief arrested for suspected drug violation See in context

For someone who travels on a regular basis, and the fact that she hid the pills amongst other items and had it sent through the mail, makes you wonder. If she's found guilty, its going to be the end of her carrier in Japan. As many post have stated, there's no excuse! The laws apply to everyone, including her!

Posted in: Man arrested over about fatal car crash, hit-and-run See in context

Japan needs to get more proactive with these people running red lights a blocking intersection because they don't want to miss the light. The police need to get out of their Koban's and do some real policing.

Posted in: Iraq lost 2,300 Humvee armoured vehicles in Mosul: PM See in context

Everything about this is wrong. The U.S. Needs to clean up its own mess at home before trying to save the world, as they would like us to think. But in actuality, they need these conflicts to feed their war machine and keep the world at a stage of conflict. The U.S. cant afford to have the masses thinking too much. And as we can see from the sanctions on Russia, North Korea and the heated discussions with China, the lines have been drawn, and alliances are forming for the next conflict, WWIII. It just a matter of time.

Posted in: Student held for murder charged with trying to poison two former classmates See in context

In a society where people are changing, and not for the better. Japan needs to update their judicial system and send a message to these nut jobs. This girl needs the death penalty. Life for a life!

Posted in: McDonald's announces global turnaround plan See in context

Their decline is in part that their products "SUCK!" People who are looking for a cheap meal or snack are best to go somewhere else. There are lots of places where you can get a cheap and healthy meal in Japan. And McDonald's, good luck with that turnaround plan, I think you're going to need it!

Posted in: Tainted water leaking into sea from roof of Fukushima plant See in context

TEPCO, it's laughable how they have been dealing with all their blunders. It's a never ending train of lies and mistrust. The problem I have is, it's not funny, and things are not being dealt with. And why aren't the board of directors under indictment for crimes against the environment and humanity, since we'll end up eating fish and other foods that glow in the dark. Timd to put these indaviguals in prison!!

Posted in: Are you in favor of legalizing casino gambling in Japan? See in context

Nothing like adding fuel to the fire! In a society that already has its share of ssocial problems, you want to add gambling to the mix. There are many other ways for the goverment to increase revenue avenues. This is just DUMB!!

Posted in: Gunma cop arrested for attempting to kidnap 10-year-old girl See in context

This is becoming all too common. Makes me sick! Parents have to start educating their children on the nasty people that live among us, including police. Walking home in groupes. Staying away from strangers, especially in vehicles, and if possible get lic numbers, and descriptions. Glad the girls had the smarts not to get in the car. Now they need to drop this individual into the deepest hole and leave him there.

Posted in: Photographer says barring him from Syria sets a bad precedent See in context

Freedom of movement! Let's talk about that shall we! If this journalist was sent on his way to Seria, seeking fame or for what ever reason he claims, and then was snatched by the cowards in black pajamas, who do think is going to have to try and buy his freedom or let some other terrorist go because he wasn't using the brain that God gave him. The Japanese government! Japan is just trying to protect their citizens from being STUPID! On the other hand, if this journalist makes a declaration stating that if he's kidnaped, that the Japanese government is NOT obligated to help with his release! This guy sounds like a glory hound just trying to stir the pot!

Posted in: Chiba woman arrested for killing daughters aged 4, 1 See in context

Some people should not have kids!! These types of asults against children are becoming more frequent, and very scary! If you need a release for your stress, GO TO THE GYM! Or in my case, hop on my Ninja and go tear up some blacktop. Lots of alternatives before things get to the point of harming children. Just don't understand these people??!!

Maybe if the board of directors at McDonalds actually ate the crap they sell, they would understand why people are starting to say"NO!" to eating this so called food.

Posted in: China's January trade surplus a record high as exports slump See in context

Maybe people have finally figured it out. Buying cheaper is not always better, especially if you have to replace it after a couple of month, and if it's clothes after a couple runs through the wash. I pay more for my goods, but they last! Everything manufactured in China has an expire date. JUNK!!
