Very smart post, but you can apply that line of thought to more than this msg board.

Indeed it is unfortunate when so many posters posting from all boards, be they Chinese, Russian, Japanese, or USA, have a 'tunnel' vission of "I am right and you are wrong". There is plenty of that to go around in every community, no doubt (if you were trying to imply otherwise).

But to say that PRC is 'calming' her people would be a very hopeful event indeed, and it does seem to finally be the case thankfully, after the past couple months of letting the energy flow, so to speak.

Absolutely though, Trans-Asia needs more balanced, non-ideological harmony as a whole, with less old-era arrogance and fewer 'me-first' motives. Can USA be part of encouraging and influencing this opportunity, as well as China and Russia? Very much so. Yes.
