Same with me. I found that children must ride is child seats until the age of 6, but no where did I see that it is illegal to have a child seat in the front.

I agree, it is not the safest of options, but it it better than no child seat.

Show a little decency. A child is dead and his mother and brother are in critical condition. Without knowing the facts of the accident, you both assume to have known exactly what occurred.

Look at the video of the news report and see for yourselves the severe damage to the car. The investigation into what happened is ongoing. As of now, nothing has been said about seatbelts not being used.

The collision and subsequent damage was severe enough a child died and the family is suffering without commentors like you doing what has become commonplace on social media, thinking that you know everything without knowing anything.

Before applying for a short-term business visa, each traveler will need to secure a “Responsible Stakeholder” to sponsor them while in Japan. The “Responsible Stakeholder” first must seek approval from the relevant Japanese ministry. Following ministry approval, the “Responsible Stakeholder” will communicate directly with the traveler in order to proceed with applying for a business-related visa.

What a long drawn-out process this will become.

Suga has repeatedly said there is no evidence linking the upsurge in cases to the Games.

The Olympics and their need for doctors, nurses and hospital beds will only make the possibility of this happening to another family all the more likely.

The IOC should come. Come and visit the hospitals. Visit the sick who have to wait at home because there is no hospital that can treat them. Visit the families of those who have died because of other non related medical emergencies because there was no place to treat them.

Organizers could allay ALL public anxiety by cancelling the Games.

Nothing short of a natural disaster will stop these Olympics.

We are in the midst of a pandemic the likes of which humanity hasn't seen in 100 years. I thought we were following the science. Well. doctors are calling for a cancellation but their calls are falling on deaf ears. Un-freaking-believable.

I understand there are various difficulties, but the priority is to stop the further spread of infections and protect the people's lives and health

No Mr. Suga, you do not understand. Because if you did, you would tell the IOC that as the leader of Japan that you have to protect your people and make their safety and security your number one priority and that these games will not be held.

But unfortunately for us this will never happen.

I guess the two standing next to each other in the picture don't seem the grasp what social distancing means.
