wow! blame the father because he comes home at 930pm????

Guess what my husband sees us 3-4 months either we go see him in U.S or he comes home for 2 weeks.

That is just a lame sick excuse to murder your own child!!!

So was there any reported stolen? He should have taken something, I mean not unless he was there just to kill the guy.

It is bad enough that they left the girl badly hurt and then her brother wandering outside the house. This alone is too much to bear for those poor kids. I just can't imagine if it's me who found them I would probably cry my heart out because they do not deserve this.

Posted in: Man kills head of Tokyo foster home he used to live in See in context

Police arrested Monday a 22-year-old man for allegedly stabbing to death the head of a foster home in Tokyo where the man used to live, with the suspect saying he wanted revenge against the facility

Revenge on what?

"Omori always thought about children seriously," said Somei Muto, his longtime friend who manages similar facilities. "I can't accept his death at all. I can't believe it."

Sounds like his colleagues thinks highly of him.

Why won't we blame the mother? who killed them on the first place?

Just because they are the ones who brought those kids to life it doesn't mean that they have the right to kill them.

Posted in: Mother to be served fresh warrant over assault of girl before death See in context

This is very sad in so many  ways. A child who lost her life in the hands of her father which until now he believes that his cruelty was just a form of discipline. A mother who doesn't want to intervene just lets her child take all the beating rather than her.

Justice system in Japan would need to toughen the child abuse bill so that any parents who are abusing or might have intention of abusing their child will somehow (hoping) have second thoughts.

School, daycare, kindergarten must have a protocol when they suspects a child is being abused.

What the heck is wrong with this parent(s). If you'd like to discipline her for wetting the bed then tell her to wash the sheets not beat her to death!

Yes mental illness. Sad to say it's been going on. This came a surprise to me when couple of weeks ago I was using the ATM machine inside a drugstore, when this old man mumbled at me and said get out of his way that I was bothering him. I did not pay attention to him and tried to ignore him but he stick his face out and told me the same thing again! this time it creeped the hell out of me and I had to yell at him to stay away from me. Stay alert out there.

Not like our opinion would matter but the mother has to seriously re-think her relationship with that man.

Yes we do not know the mother, this article barely gave us anything about the current situation of the family. I really want to pity her and believe that she is hopeless and needs mental help BUT this is straight up murder. We are talking about a wonderful 3 year old child that she strangled!!!

Mass murder need at least four or more person in a single location killed so it true that it's not common in japan. However, familicide is very common here in Japan.

I know that it requires a lot of work taking care of family members with special needs and situations like this with little or almost no help will result to this but a little compassion to the man that gave you life.

Posted in: 6 found dead in house in Miyazaki Pref; 7th body found under bridge See in context

A dead man found later in the day under a city bridge around 3 kilometers from the house may be his son, the police said.

So his son, his wife, grand daughter, acquaintance and possibly body of Yasuo's were mentioned on the article and I'm guessing the two other bodies are the parents of his grand daughter.

I just feel sick reading this. RIP

"she nodded off for a few seconds and lost control of her car" more of like she's texting. This happened to me 3 yrs ago, good thing I was inside of my car when this woman rear ended me on a red light felt like she slammed me twice, that's how hard the impact I felt. Imagine if that woman was to pass the red lights and she weren't paying attention she would have hit those pedestrians.

WE should all agree to disagree. I have no sympathy for the mother. I cannot comment about the husband because I know nothing about their situation, but my heart bleeds for the children.  Not because she carried them for 9 months that she has the right to take their life.

Posted in: Woman arrested for leaving body of newborn baby in coin lockers for 4-5 years See in context

"So no matter how much love you give to your child now, 30 years later that child could be a serial killer"

Well it depends on what kind of love you are giving. If it's something just "extravagant" or "material " of course it will not guarantee your child to be a better human being.

The best bond that any parents can do to their child is hugging or embracing it will bring positive effects to a child and a chemical called oxytocin is released during when a person feels loved and connected. It has been shown to help parents bond with their children, adding a sense of trust and support between them.

Of course teaching them humility and supporting them in any kind of way will always makes a difference.

We are not perfect human beings but forgetting your child for more than 2 hours is quite horrible.

I don't believe it's a manslaughter but more on negligent.

Posted in: Man arrested for stabbing 'noisy' neighbor See in context

An exhausted friend fell asleep with some rather loud music on. Two different neighbors called the police to come ask him to turn it off. It's a totally legit complaint - but what's with everyone's fear of opening their mouths and talking to another human being?? It takes 20 seconds to knock on someone's door and make a request. Calling the police to come all the way over and do the same thing was totally unnecessary.

Had this psycho knocked on her door and asked her to do the same, she'd still be alive and he'd still be living his life freely.

WELL SAID.

They called cops on us when we were celebrating Christmas eve with my family. I know & I truly understand that there's no Christmas in japan but for some people who LOVESSS to celebrate Christmas and having joyful feast and exchanging gifts and the next thing you know the police are downstairs checking on a possible brawl reported by the neighbor.

Posted in: Driver arrested after ramming motorbike from behind, killing rider See in context

This is a simple road rage that has an unfortunate ending.

The driver has no excuse for tailgating the motorcyclist, there's no barrier to protect the guy but just his own body that is why no matter how frustrating some motorcyclist are I just have to remind myself that.

I also had an experience where I had to stop for oncoming yellow light and this motorcyclist behind me didn't like that at all. He stopped on my left shoulder and took off his helmet and gave me that "look". I just didn't mind him at all because there's no positivity will come out of it anyway.

Posted in: 3-year-old boy dies after being hit by car on Nagano highway See in context

With a heavy heart, I do agree that it is the mother's fault. I mean how long is the chat with your friend to actually realize that your child is missing?

I assumed that their chit chat is outside the house & both of them are so occupied that neither one of them suspected that Yuhi wandered off.

I'm not saying that I agreed on her killing her daughter.

46 years was a lot of hard work.

I have a tremendous respect for this woman, imagine she is 72 and she has been caring for her daughter since she was 26.

The government is to blame for this.
