It should be many factors regarding Japanese economic depression. But nowadays people say the trigger was caused by Plaza Accord. In 1985, it was Plaza Accord which is exchange rate agreement between G5 (USA, UK, France, Germany, Japan). Before Plaza Accord, 1 US$ was 235 yen. But one year later after Plaza Accord, 1 US$ became 150 yen. And then Japanese economy went to deep economic depression. Why? Because didn't Japanese work efficiently?
