Without fail, it's often Americans creating the most drama, being belligerent, and disruptive when they travel to other countries.

Americans should be ashamed of themselves for electing such an imbecile. What a disgrace to the US presidency and everything it(supposed to) stand for.

Yet Trump and majority of white Americans wouldnt be in their position of privilege and vastly unearned wealth had it not been for their forebears 'invading' the US and other parts of the world to slaughter innocent people and exploit their wealth and resources.

Trump and those who support him dont seem to realize, nor want to acknowledge, that theyre direct beneficiaries of 'illegal immigration' starting with the mass migration of Europeans to US at the turn of the century. Many of whom required nothing but caucasian features which entitled them to a plot of land, slaughtering the natives indiscriminately, and horde as much natural resources as they could find.

Sad thing is that millions of Americans, even those that didn't vote for Trump, dont care enough to make a difference.

Racism exists everywhere but it manifests itself in more violent ways in predominantly western countries.

No other developed or even less developed countries, particularly in SE/E Asia, have hate groups openly harassing/assaulting people like they do in US/UK/EU/AUS.

Such behavior has gone on for decades and while not everyone in west is guilty of it, too many are which emboldens many more to act out in racist ways.

US has a cultural problem that it is unwilling to address - that of condoning and enabling violence for the slightest provocations.

Too many Americans think it is their right to react to any perceived threat with overwhelming violence. The result is 'stand your ground' laws giving American citizens in many states the right to shoot anyone for the most trivial reason and walk away without facing criminal charges.

This high tolerance for violence and easy access to guns in US, creates an environment where children are desensitized to gun violence and while often parroting the gun fanaticism of their parents.

That Trump became president despite overwhelming number of US voters against him is unfair.

That a minority of US voters, largely from states that contribute relatively little to US economy or society, were able to overrule the majority from states that contribute the most is unfair.

That Americans have to be subjected to daily news drama about the petulant, narcissistic, and incompetent behavior of someone who holds most powerful office in the world is unfair.

Thankfully Trump's single term in office cant end soon enough...

Bottomline is gaijin are treated far better in Japan than Japanese/Asians are in your own country. Look up incidents of physical/verbal assault by whites against Asians in US/EU/AUS and try to find the same for gaijin in Japan.

Why don't they have a programme about non-Japanese who live and work in Japan? If more Japanese people could see how well many of us gaijin fit in and contribute to Japanese society, maybe there'd be a bit less discrimination

Simple fact is that many gaijin, even after living in Japan for decades, refuse to fit in nor adopt local customs. A lot of them dont even speak Japanese yet are married to locals. They far outnumber those that try to fit in and respect the culture.

On the other hand, gaijin are often featured on Japanese programming far more often than Japanese/Asians are in western media. Why is that? Certainly they contribute just as much if not more, and in my experience, try a lot harder than their western counterparts to adapt and not be a 'squeaky wheel.'

End illegal immigration and watch wages go up

That's not how the economy works let alone Capitalism, the very system that most Americans w/relatively high standard of living.

If wages went up cost of goods will also rise making everyday goods more expensive and the result would be slowing economic growth leading to fewer jobs.

Guess who would be hurt the most by this? The very same people who complain about illegal immigration yet rely the most on govt welfare.

Firstly many US citizens are and do perform those jobs. Secondly most Americans have no problem with immigrants doing these jobs, they have problems with ILLEGAL immigrants doing them

Obviously not enough US citizens do those jobs to meet demand hence opportunities for illegal immigrants to fill the need.

Americans that have problems w/illegal immigrants working in US are being hypocritical when their very way of life would be impossible w/out them.

Too many Americans, especially Trump supporters, fail to understand that their very way of life depends on cheap, immigrant labor to do jobs they refuse to do in agriculture, construction, meat processing, and myriad of other jobs they deem beneath them.
