Another reason Britain and the Euro powers happily annexed Arab land for the Jewish people was to see many Jews leave the above mentioned countries.
Sad but true.

Ukraine was considered the "breadbasket of Europe " for its grains production. Russia additionally sees a historical claim to part of that territory.
Japan doesnt ,wont cant interfere with China or Russian shipping...why would they ?
And wars start for "geopolitical reasons .." LIKE RESOURCE ACCESS. What are Japan's resources in raw materials ?
No one invading Antartica I notice.
Again, where''s the benefit of invading and occupying Japan.
No one can answer.
Maybe occupying some disputed southern Islands beyond Okinawa....MAYBE....but that hardly the goose that laid the golden egg is it. ?
From the southern seas, Australia , the Indian ocean, India, the Atlantic, Europe, it would''nt be an American Head of State visit if buying more American arms were not on the agender.
Worse than Avon Calling or Tupperware Parties.

Russia GDP on par with South Korea, around number 10 in world ratings.
USA, Japan, UK, Germany, France and five other nations exceed Russia's GDP.
Personally for a nation with one of the largest landmass , they are doing pretty poorly.
Suggest less paranoid arms building, more high tech. manufacturing.
Oh...and less alcoholism.

Posters here could see readers comments in media such as Times of Israel. Pure prejudice against Arabs.
When an Israeli youth recently stabbed an Arab bus driver...guess what...zero comments
Israel has morphed into a nasty little nation under the political right, personified by the 3 piece "War Cabinet "
.
And didnt Israeli youth, in recent years set up lounge chairs on a hill top to watch Gaza being bombed.
More recently gangs of Israeli brigands terrorizing Arab farmers on the occupied West Bank.
More than 100 killed in recent months
Any arrests made, convictions, imprisonment. ?
Nope. IDF facilitates the murderous rampages.
Israel has turned a mythical religious book {The Bible/The Torah } into an instrument of politics backed by armed force.
Such a sick sense of entitlement to other peoples land.
Thats the root of the problem.

The cost of drones pales into insignificance compared to the cost of bringing the drone down. Secondly, Iran now has more intel on where the "Iron Dome " facilities are.
So not a failed mission showing Israel superiority.
It was a show of face, highly calibrated, by Iran.
Can both nations start a student exchange or similar.
Hatred breed hatred

1/ Iran telegraphed the drone attack by advising Israel through, probably some Euro countries, that the attack was coming in 17 hours or more. No one killed...minimal damage. Military sites only targeted.
It was a show of force only.
2/Israel bombed Iranian soil when it covertly destroyed an Embassy compound in Syria. Killing 13 people.
3/Sadly this tit for tat has diverted world attention from Israel's destruction of Gaza, the ethnic cleansing and the deaths of 35,000 people.
4/People who should know better vastly underestimate Iran's military power and over estimate Israels.
Israel has yet to defeat a non state actor of resistance fighters in Gaza, despite months of unrelenting attack
The myth of the IDF has melted.
Israel is a country of 10 million people surrounded by potentially hostile nations with hundreds of million people.
Tread carefully would seem to be good tactics

Read "A Legacy of Ashes ", a history of the CIA for a more complete understanding of US using groups in foreign nations to pursue US political aims. Even overthrew a Government in Greece, post war.
These actions are almost always a result of US ruling class desires to control another nations resources. Or in the case of Cuba, to appeal to Cuban voters in Florida, a state crucial to winning elections.
It's not a Polly Anna world.
And the US neo cons have been eying a recontrol of Iran for decades.
Please do some research and dont plaintively keep asking questions.

I'd say this case will be hard to win notwithstanding it's merits and the evidence plaintiffs will present.
Difficult to win because of the Japanese judiciary, who are clearly attached to the Police in a systematic way.
I'm reminded how Local Courts in Australia were once called "Police Courts " and having spent many years working in these and other jurisdictions, it''s the Police whose evidence weighs more.
Before mandatory recording, Magistrates would say "but why would the Police lie "
LOL

All these allegations like 'using proxies ", interfering in other countries etc. can equally be leveled at the US, Israel and the UK. Look at the recent history in Libya, Syria, Iraq ...Overseas assassinations are Israel's go to weapon.
Restrictions on the press can be seen in Israel banning al Jazeera recently, and for God's sake, BOMBING the al Jazeera building in Gaza FLAT some years ago {journos' given 1 hour to leave.}
Israel bombed an Iranian Embassy compound....this is Iranian soil in International Law. Recent history has Israel assassinating Iranian scientists and bombing industrial areas...not just nuclear plants but electricity/power generators as well.
Iran bombed Israel ,in a telegraphed way, targeting military areas only , and clearly pointed out this was their response for the Embassy attack.
Can we see a pattern here ?
Israel and the west can treat other countries with contempt but woe betide anyone who responds.
What gives Israel a free pass.?
And where was the interdiction from the West to prevent the genocide in Gaza ?
Liars and hypocrites all of them.

Returning Iran's frozen assets " was an Obama era decision.
This was mediated in the World Court.
Follows a cancellation of US fighter sales to Iran...but US kept the money.
Interest added to the initial figure, again, as adjudicated by a World Court, and agreed to by both parties.
Trump restarted the "Iran...bad " theme to satisfy neo cons in America.
Obama era softening of sanctions saw an exponential growth in western tourism to Iran.
Now we are back at square one. "Iran bad " Sanctions reinstated.
West wants Israel, {population 10 million } to be the dominant power in the region.
Unsustainable in my view.

At least it's good US has said publicly they wont publicly support an Israeli military response.
What US does behind the scenes ..... well....have to wait.
Israel has bombed Iran and assassinated many people, military , scientists etc.,
So...
Israel has no moral high ground in this.
One of the reasons for the establishment of the state of Israel was to ensure Euro/UK/western interests were secured in the Middle East.
Support for Israel from these groups shows that motivation still in play.

That said, people with mental illness less likely to commit violent acts...check the stats.
