I hear a lot of people abroad and here in japan saying they won’t take it. What happens if they decide to chip your health card for those who have received and deny access to places such as airports, hotels, amusement parks, restaurants, concert events etc?would you still say no to the vaccine?

Phase 3 is testing on 30,000 people now. You won’t be under a test phase. For japan to hand this out, phase 3 will be finished(around sept/oct) then FDA approval. Right now only side effects are mild fever and some headaches. Same as flu. Before you stand on your soapbox and shout you are not gonna take the shot, the gov can come out and say without the shot, you cannot use public transportation, shopping, flying etc. cards have been mentioned or putting it on the back of your health insurance card which everyone has. Just my 2 cents.

Absolutely absurd. What about permanent residents, long term visa holders etc. who have been living in Japan for many many years, paid their taxes, own houses, have (Japanese) spouses/kids? They should have priority in being allowed to come back not business people from some selected countries, coming in for just a couple of days!

And JGov is even considering to include China and US at a later stage?? What are they thinking? Apparently not

residents and Japanese can return. They just have to lock it down for 2 weeks once returned. No one said they couldn’t. This post is for gaijjins who will be on a business or tourist visa.

Where is the accountability for these massive sums?

Businesses needing support must submit a 90 page form, with hanko.

beg to differ, but my son submitted with photo copies of last year tax paper, copy of business license, copy of bank book and drivers license. He is a business owner.

Taking babies on a cruise is not what I call a vacation. Wait till the child is 3-4 years old. Never could understand why parents don’t want to stay home with young children. They and the parents will enjoy much more when the child is older. But I guess that’s the difference between japan and the rest of the west.

Easy fix on skipping out on Bill, during the olympics just post sign in English and Japanese cash only. Japanese will frown, but it’s the only way. No tab. Locals will get used to it. It’s a hassle, but you won’t have someone skimping out on a tab. Had a bar for 3 years and always did it that way. Worked fine.

If japan bought the oil, regardless of who’s country flag is transporting it, they have a right to defend what is theirs. That I believe would fall under the constitution, self defense for property. Why not? Like protecting your land from a hostile takeover, same thing.

50 million on Okinawa for the Aquarium? How is that when Okinawa only had 10 million tourists last year??

The military were the only ones telling civilians to take their lives so that they wouldn't be taken prisoners. They told the civilians that the Americans would rape all women and kill the children. The emperor had no say in what actually happened on the battlefield. The Japanese society didn't actually hear his voice till the end of the war.
