Posted in: Singapore tightens virus curbs after infections spike See in context
Japan without lockdowns is doing much better than most countries with severe lockdowns, Look at the infected number with the population ratio. Japan 5200 cases per 1,000,000 and Singapore 10400 per 1,000,000 people with many strict lock downs. Japan reports 89 deaths per 1,000,000 with a lot of elderly citizens and Singapore has only 5 deaths per 1,000,000. So Singapore is doing well with their health care probably, But Japan had done quite well compared to many countries without inconveniencing public.

Why not use the available proof and action on it? There must be appropriate international laws to punish such culprits so it may stop. Or we we going to keep debating while they continue their mission and expand?

I have just been to over 40 countries and several trips some countries. My first visit to France was over 15 years ago and I felt France in general to be a safe and a developed country. My last visit in 2019 was completely different. I felt that it is not the same. The safety and the prosperity I felt was not there any more apart from magnificent historical architecture. I felt France to be unsafe and in some ways I felt petty that it was changing for worse.

Most countries in today's world had either been invaders or Colonies. So much injustice have happened. All because the stronger bullied the weaker. Past is past. Learn the lesson and move forward. As it is important for all of us to know and understand the history so that we hope it will not be repeated again. Today's citizens should learn to understand or acknowledge the past, accept it as it was and move forward with mutual respect so that the future can be bright. It is not right to stereotype different races and discriminate them or blame the today's generations for what happened in the past.

It is hard to believe the direction that Japan is heading. Ambulances picking patients and driving around for hours without a hospital to accept them? What about some makeshift hospitals?

You already delayed the most important decisions. What we are now going to need are more ICU beds and ventilators. Pls do something about that.
