Yes, I can but I know where Mosul is, in fact I was there 45 years ago.
The article is about a tragedy in Mosul, a good journalist or editor would have included a map showing its location with the article.

I did and replied pointing out that those links have nothing to do with the topic of this story, Chinese tourists, but the moderator removed my comment for some reason only known to him/herself as they didn't offer the courtesy of an explanatory email.

Just where do you get this nonsense from?
Thailand were used by transit area by mastermind, we also never know whether tourist guide is proper tourist guide. They can easily lured tourist for few extra buck they can be in other countries, Cambodia, Laos or Myanmar only to find themselves being kidnapped.

It is really take place, people are being lured to countries that have land border with Thai, countries like Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. Lured to decent job only find themselves being captivated and sold multiple times.
All of which has nothing to do with the normal tourists.
Going to Thailand is a damn sight safer than going to China.

The story says a 15-ton beam collapsed. Before blaming the construction company, ask these two questions: Where did the beam come from? Who made it?
A 15 ton beam does not collapse, it falls. There is not enough information here to do anything more than speculate but I would bet that the slinger didn't secure the beam properly and it slipped whilst being hoisted and knocked other beams down before they were properly secured or, chains/wire ropes failed. Who knows?

China should be totally shunned by the rest of the world.
Don't buy from them, don't sell to them, don't go there, pull out if you're already there, ban their airlines from landing, deport all their citizens from your country on some trumped up charges, isolate them completely.
Sadly, impractical.

I have been using the iPhone 12 since it was issued. Ran to the bathroom to check my ears. Gosh, they are still there.
Your ears may indeed be still in place but what is between them is getting a little fried every time you hold a radio transmitter next to your head, particularly if you are some way from the nearest cell tower and the 'phone has cranked its power up to the max to compensate.
For your own safety keep the handset away from your head, hold it in front of you on speaker mode if you can.

Americans could solve most of their cardiovascular problems by changing their diet and quitting the ultraprocessed industrial garbage they consume. That would probably help alleviate some of the cancers too.
Ah but that would make people more irritable and bad-tempered resulting in more shootings.

LondontimeToday 09:26 am JST
For those posters complaining about the design, have you seen the RR SUV? It is total joke, The Toyota is way better. Take a look for yourself:
Quite so.
If you are being chauffeured around in one of these, RR, Bentley or Toyota, you are either relaxing or working and couldn't care less what the car looks like from the outside, you only care about what the car can offer inside.
Owners of these cars do not park them on their driveways and admire them every time they leave their home, they do not wash and polish them every Sunday morning or drive round to the local gasoline stand to check the tyre pressures. Owners are in a totally different demographic to most of the rest of us.

Cannabis is not addictive.
".........while fewer people are addicted to marijuana than cocaine or alcohol, marijuana addiction is very real. The National Institute on Drug Abuse states that 9% of people who use marijuana will become dependent on it, and that number jumps to 17% when use begins at younger ages (notably, teenagers)."
Not everyone agrees with you, I certainly don't, I've known a few cannabis addicts.

I use cannabis 2/3 a day for medicinal reasons, that's it. It relieves me of the constant pain I have and makes me calmer. My doctor prescribed me some very strong pain killers many yrs ago, and although I am allowed 8 a day, I will only take 2 in the morning and this is because of my fear of addiction for them.
Do you consider yourself to be addicted to cannabis?
