Posted in: Man arrested for sexually assaulting 10-year-old girl he met on TikTok See in context

First of all how do you check into a hotel with a 10 year old girl? The hotel should also be held liable for this tragedy. This sick person should be sentenced and placed in you know where.

The bastards that murdered this woman should be brought to trial and given the maximum sentence.

Posted in: Peach plane diverts to Niigata airport to offload passenger who refused to wear a mask See in context

First of all, why does the airline not hand out surgical quality masks to each passenger and make them sign a document that they will wear the mask while aboard the aircraft or be denied entry. If you don't comply, the aircraft will not depart the station and that customer will be charged for all expense related to the delay and be removed from the flight. Where are the air marshals on this flight?

Posted in: Annual dolphin hunt starts in Wakayama whaling town See in context

Sad practice. No need. Barbaric. I was at an izakaya about 25 years ago with a Canadian buddy having a meal and drinks, he ordered a dish that I tried and it tasted terrible and he told me that I had tried porpoise. My late j-wife told me that in school their lunch meal included whale meat and she said it was disgusting and like chewing fish bubble gum.

These people broke the law in several countries and should face the Japanese legal system as a starter. End of story.

Posted in: 2nd survivor rescued after livestock ship sinks off Japan See in context

At least another person was saved from the sea. Cannot imagine being in an ocean after my ship sank and hoping for salvation. Hope they find more alive.

Posted in: 50-year-old man arrested for beating 20-year-old wife to death with fishing rod See in context

Sad story. Don't know their situation but she should have run out of their home to a neighbor or police box for help. As far as the age difference, I can't comment but there are plenty of spring/winter marriages that work as long as both parties are happy. Who beats their wife or children to death and for what reason? Hope he receives the full extent of the law for his crime.

Posted in: Japan coast guard suspends search for crew from capsized cattle ship due to bad weather See in context

Lost at sea in a typhoon, I cant imagine. Don't understand why the skipper did not head for smoother areas. Dont drive through a storm fully loaded. God bless all their souls and families.

Why does the police not put a full head mask on this idiot? He and others are violating the law and have no regard for others.

Posted in: Rescued crewman dies; records reveal defects with cattle ship sunk off Japan See in context

Sad story all around. Loss of human or animal life is tragic. Can not imagine being trapped inside a sinking ship or thrown into the ocean in a typhoon. Good job for the Japanese coast guard. Life is precious and dont waste it.

Posted in: Canada's top doctor urges mask wearing during sex, no kissing See in context

There are other ways to satisfy your partner other than direct intercourse. As far as using less alcohol so you don't make a decision to have less safe sex is wrong. Alcohol on your skin or in your body via beverages kills bacteria and viruses so drink responsibly, lol.  What about using the toilet, sinks and showers. What about cooking, eating and using utensils and appliances, touching door knobs or any knobs. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll get.

Posted in: Handheld mask for dinner use See in context

Interesting product, where can I buy stock in this mask company as this will become a Japanese fad for a while? Do they have hello kitty designs too? Order out or get home delivery instead of going out and possibly spreading this virus until we have the vaccine.

Posted in: We visit a new Tokyo bar where nobody speaks and writing is the only way to communicate See in context

I can still speak passable Japanese but my writing skills are no good anymore. How can I enjoy a place like this without tension or anxiety. I guess I would need to put on my big boy pants and find a different watering hole.

Posted in: Japanese grandmothers create 'Monkey Busters' group to fight primates with airguns See in context

These monkeys are not going away unless their food sources dry up. Love the granny monkey buster squad but someone is going to get a pellet in the eye. Build cages throw food in them and capture some of those monkeys. They may wise up but you're going to get a bunch before they figure it out. Also get hunters and dogs and pay them 20,000 yen for every monkey they bag. They are stealing these people's food, money and efforts. Stealing is stealing.

Posted in: Japanese divorce rate drops nearly 10% during coronavirus stay-at-home time See in context

I spent 2 years with my late Japanese wife 24 hours a day and it brought us totally together and taught me care and compassion. Bad outcome in the end but I am a better person. Before or after you enter into a relationship a couple should stay isolated together for a while to see if they can handle a serious longterm relationship despite differences and accept or resolve them. I hope this positive trend continues in Japan.

Posted in: Japan's 'flying car' gets off the ground, with a rider aboard See in context

What is the purpose of this machine? Would you want your millionaire next door to own this and is not be a certified pilot and let alone allow to fly this aircraft maybe into their driveway. How are you going to control this type of air traffic control? This makes no sense. Why are there investment firms putting money into projects like this?

Posted in: Tesla seeks approval for sensor that could detect child left in hot cars See in context

Silly technology and it would be better to have technology to destroy stupid parents or drivers than leave kids, pets or others in hot cars. Give me a break here folks. Dont leave anything or any one in a car in this heat. This is not simple math.

My father who served in the army air corps during wwii as a pilot did not know that Japanese Americans served in Europe and where some of the most highly decorated Japanese usa military troops fought and died shames me. My late j wife was astonished that the USA has so many Japanese Americans give there lives to this country but they have not been acknowledged for there sacrifices. Maybe the USA will wake up.
