Surely an impartial, independent investigation of the site should take place before condemning anyone in the security council, rather than just rely on hearsay from the people who are fighting against the Syrian Government.

According to Wikipedia Imamura has 8,000 shares in Tepco so he has a vested interest in getting people to return and reducing Tepco's expenses.

The Japanese proverb 郷に入っては郷に従え means exactly the same Actually that is a Chinese proverb.

Incidentally, with all the cameras they have in the UK I am surprised that surgical masks have not become more popular.

Try being friendly, talk to them instead of threatening them all the time. When Koizumi went to N. Korea and talked, they released all the people they had kidnapped straight away.

People are saying that they won't catch on, but they are necessary in the countryside where the population is aging and the authorities have stopped providing public transport. Not everybody lives in Tokyo where you can walk to the shops/hospitals.

They terminated our local bus service about 15 years ago. It is over 16 kilometers to the nearest shops so what are people supposed to do if they can't drive? (And don't say take a taxi because it is too expensive).

Judging by the comments here, maybe it is a good idea to have squat toilets in school as it familiarizes the students with them and overcomes any qualms they may have about using them.
