A lot of the lack of manners is due to liberals and western influence.

But, I use my phone on the train. You don't like it? Go ahead, try to take it away from me.

But I don't think 99% of people should be allowed to use their phones on the train. Only the elite can do so.

Posted in: Should U.S. President Barack Obama visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki when he comes to Japan in November? See in context

Obama should go there and say, "We did what we did to save you from yourselves. It's too bad that people had to die, but blame lies with the former leadership of your country. Get over it. Grow up."

This makes me furious. Are these 8 people claiming their countries are perfect? Don't they have problems to work on in their own countries? Japan makes its own laws, and should not cave to foreign pressure.

hakujinsensei, it's best that women don't find out that you can get an STD from oral sex. Keep that one under wraps, mate.

Hitomi Kuroki was once billed in a Japanese tabloid as having "a gorgeous face and the body of a nine year old boy."

Sarge, what kind of men does that attract?

joetheplumber,

She's made a couple of attempts at Hollywood, but has had legendary difficulty trying to learn English. We're talking about someone who can't even learn a few words, if you know what I mean.

Posted in: Should public funds be used to bail out big companies like JAL? See in context

The whole reason for collecting taxes is for funds from the lower and middle classes to be used to save companies when these working class people make mistakes at work. Management jobs must be saved at all costs.

The woman told police she glared at the man and yelled, “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

Unless she yelled it in English, that's a bad translation.

Japan, the only nation with a shrinking population and increased emissions. Who are they to say what the rest of the world should do?

Headline should read, "Hatoyama laughed off the world stage."

Tosaken, it's pretty plan and simple. If Japan walks away from its responsibility to the international community, it sends the message that it is pro-terror.

What proof is there that these comments were altered? Is there a recording of the original conversation? I find it hard to believe this guy. Businesses have too much to risk to be dishonest in what they publish. Freelancers, on the other hand, have an easy time launching accusations that they have been misquoted.

I don't understand why anyone gets married. I have everything I need - a couple of kids, tons of money and a new woman every few months. Why waste time with one woman who will bore you in a year or two?

Marriage is for the poor.
