That is good there is 70,000 people willing to help. Plus outside doctors, dentists and such! Good JOB Japan. Keep going!

Nice work! Now, they just need to convince 70,000 more to quit!

So the Olympics are barreling ahead. But why?
Start with billions of dollars at stake, a contract that overwhelmingly favors the IOC, and a decision by the Japanese government to stay the course, which might help Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga keep his job.
Remember folks...This isn't about YOU, this is all about the ¥, and the PM with his selfish agenda.

Still living in their own little world and waiting for wonders to happen.
It is called being in denial, and mentally incompetant.

OlympicsOlympic anxiety leaves Japanese sponsors counting the cost.
There needs to be MORE pressure and MORE campaigns going into cancelling the Olympics.

This is just normal business for Japan! Only one speed in Japan...S L O W. Sorry my comment took so long. I had to send a fax to Japan Today to have them post my comment for me.

I don't know about you all here...but I find NOTHING sexual about a child. Call me crazy if you must...
8 ( +10 / -2 )
Serious question: WTF are you doing Japan?
31 ( +34 / -3 )
Enable SOE, ease restrictions under SOE. I have many friends world-wide and I tell them about Japan and their "We are confused about what to do" and they all laugh.

No matter what this woman does she will be criticized. You all need to get back to work, and ket us retired folks handle the comments section! Go work your 90 hoir work week for your ¥230,000 a month!

I like how people here think they know what is best for her. Not one of you here understand the pressures of being famous at a young age. It is not easy. Leave the woman alone and stop trying to demonize her for wanting to take a break!

When you can't meet the original goal, move the goal post, meet the new goal, and claim success. lol

Good on her! She is free to do as she wishes. If she needs a break, no problem.

SLUGGISH is an understatement. Patiently waiting for systems to crash, vaccines to expire and the disaster to continue

It is AVERAGE.

So he gave this household more money, and then they gave him a piece.

Ok. How about once a month I drill you with the SAME questions! Are you willing to do this?
-12 ( +19 / -31 )
She is hiding because she does not want to be questioned about if she thinks the Olympics should be held or not. Smart move!
15 ( +28 / -13 )
It is good to see Japan always HAS a plan. However, all of their "plans" fail..time.and.time.again.

They should have put spike stripels behind his car or janned his tires with a knofe while he was still in the parking lot. Then ise their metal stick they carry, break the window and pull him out. This could have been avoided if they just used a little non-lethal force. But no, they rather sit there for 6 hours asking the man nicely to please come out.

Restrictions or no restrictions, there is literally NO DIFFERENCE HERE!

This causes total confusion for the Japanese. This is the j-gov't onve again doing a half @ss job, with half @aa measures. There is no balance! There are two choices:
Lock it down-Virus can't spreadOpen it and have the virus spread
At this point the gov't has lost their mind and has become completely clueless as to what they should do.
21 ( +26 / -5 )
I am confused. I don't see hardly any 12-15 year old infected and/or in the hospital? Am I missing something?
8 ( +9 / -1 )
They refused to leave and then wanted out? I understand locking the door when they refused to leave, but when they decided they wanted out, then open the door and let them out! Here is a better idea..don't put them in the facility in the first place. While they are waiting to be in front or a judge or whatever process, let them oit and give them an ankle monitor!
