C Harald HansenJun. 09, 2016 - 11:01PM JST Oh, the usual tripe. China claims what is most convenient for them at the time. They complain about imperialism, but they are one of the worst and will of course never admit it.
China has a form of state capitalism which can;t be found n any other part of the world. It's rather unique and fed by most western(ized) nations, including Japan. I don't think this needs extra 'made in China' explanation or does it?
Besides the state controlled capitalism, China also does not have democracy and a bad reputation in relation to human rights. Every other nation with lesser geo-economic proportions and importance would have been blamed and shamed on a daily basis by 'free world' politicians.
With other words, it's western hypocrisy and greed which made China what it is now. .

Soon or later, China is going to find itself in some sort of stupid conflict.
As you might understand, it's not only China, a conflict (one between nations) always counts at least 2. However a conflict in relation to China and it's expansion politics might mean up to seven regional nations, including Japan.
I think it is time that a special UN commission takes action. It's still possible to find a political solution.

Worrying about safety...and using (read: being used) at the same time facebook and Line :-) LOL
As a side note: knowing the amount of online personal details my young children use and share both in Europe and Japan. They should be taught at school about it.

Such important part of the body and (usually) the entrance to the world for human life should be worshiped instead of prosecuted. :-)
I remember the penis festival in Japan I covered for a reportage...I propose a vagina festival.

Facebook is in the first place a big data miner. Besides this it's a political instrument used mainly by US. Facebook played and plays an important (supporting) role by uprisings in several middle eastern countries.
Due to the amount of data facebook gathers it should be banned

China might maybe be the 2nd potential economy in numbers but it's the most important economy in the world. By means of production, consumer market and geo economics.

North Korea is behaving like an angry child threatening with a fire arm, while the parents are saying, you don't dare to shoot. All three they know however that one false move can have fatal consequences.

@mitoguitarman: indeed time for the UN to intervene. But with a nation which dominates world economy many UN members will for sure be quite silent when there choice is asked.

I know what you mean. Did you also see all the Chinese restaurants being attacked in Osaka, and all the Chinese car dealers being threatened and I've seen many Japanese staged governmental violent demonstrations taking place at the Chinese consulate. Japan is as an incredible aggressive nation.
Time to let the UN deal with this. In the meantime I would if I was Japan immediately make plans to a complete withdrawal of all industrial production in China. Looking at the unstable political and economic situation developing in China it's clear it's not a good safe basis anymore for large scale production there are other nations out there like Thailand and Vietnam who can take over. .
>So much hate and dislikes aimed at the Chinese, so much negativity here, Why?? So many people excited about the prospects of a conflict between Japan and China and even the Americans. !!!! you people really confuse me.

@Daffy_Duck
Indeed, and I wonder if the temporary closing of Japanese factories in China would do any good to it.
.I do think that it is a good idea for Japanese companies to look for other Asian nations in relation to foreign production, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam offer better, more stabil political climates.
The situation is getting worse by the day..

It's the 'right' political answer a nation as the US only can give. And as always the European nations will wait with 'their' political reaction after that of the US and of course similar in line.
What would some expect here: that the US would say? "come on chaps, it's only a bloody flag honk your car and put a new one on at home."

Actually it's not quite in total favor for Samsung. It counts for both companies. Best result "for us" consumers. These kind of court results will force companies more and more to settle an agreement instead of going to court with all kind of 'ban' risks.
Wow. A South Korean court ruled in favor of Samsung. Shocked.
