Seriously. Does this need to be asked? It's fairly obvious no?

China whats to be able to project military might so it can "get it's way" around the world.

I don't see why Japan should care either. It makes no difference to them. China is right next door, they don't need any aircraft carrier to reach them.

@Cosuke You don't need a carrier to defend your own shores. You could just launch your aircraft from land. Carriers are used to launch aircraft elsewhere.

Also ... anyone else get the feeling this is partly intentional.

Now we have a lot of anti-LDP, anti-Japan, pro-non-Japan, commenters here who go "LDP-LOL" but you don't get into the political circle of your country by being a dimwit.

I won't be surprised if this is a manufactured excuse for something else internal. There is literally no consequence to pissing of SKorea after all - unlike say China.

Probably going into tinfoil hat terriority here, but it might be even this BS is coordinated between the 2 governments ... It happened with the middle east governments and the US. On the surface they throw rhetoric at each other, but as wikileaks shows they are actually buddies behind the scenes.

When will this end?

China, Japan, Korea. These 3 east asian country will be lock in endless BS with each other for the rest of time.

Good for the rest of the world I suppose. If they don't corporate they are weaker as individual states.

And the US can continue to "rule" the world.

I will be quite surprise if NKorea actually has a function Air Force.

Doubt they have the fuel to flying their planes even for training.

@Knowledge If it makes you feel any better, I think neither of those groups have any talent. :P

They are like the Justin Be-whatishisname of Japan.

Manufactured pop groups without a mind of their own, who just follow the instruction of their handlers to put on a masquerade to pander to the audience.

Posted in: Nintendo's task: The Wii, again, more, better See in context

Here is the thing. Sony can already more or less match the features provided by the new controller with the PS Vita out end of this year - although they did it more or less by accident.

Play without a TV? You can already do that with the current PSP for certain games via Remote Play.

Touch Screen controls? PSV has a touch screen as well.

If you already have a PS3, there is no sense in buying the Wii U. Might as well get the PSV, a full blown handheld console, that does roughly the same thing - it might even work with existing games via patches or just out-of-the-box, rather than get a the brand new Wii U with it's tiny software library and questionable 3rd party support.

I don't think "being hacked" is an accountable offense in any country... It's likely their security wasn't as good as they thought it was, but I am not sure if they actually did anything wrong here and it will probably be almost impossible to prove if they intentionally used inferior protocols...

I keep see Sony haters try to blame everything on them.

Do they really want Sony dead so much?

Maybe Sony should just quit this business. Let MS run the joint like a monopoly - Nintendo as a much smaller company would be so dead once Sony is out of the picture and MS can focus all their resources into burying them using every dirty trick in the book (undercutting their prices until they go out of business, bribing publishers, strongarming retailers, ... etc)

Few years later, when they are here cursing MS for over-priced low quality hardware while they get "nickel and dime" to death. We can just sit back and laugh.**

** I'm getting to old to play video games anyway - don't have as much free time and energy as I use to have.
