Yes, there are other alternatives to paper or plastic straws, but those are not really cost effective.

The biodegradable ones are very good, albeit they cost at least twice as much as the standard ones.

Those straws are only a insignificant part of the issues. More countries, including USA, India, China, Pakistan, etc and the rest of the biggest polutters, should start to implement on a country side scale plastic recycle entry and give substantial fees to those who polite the rivets, lakes or seas.

did I read India and Pakistan here, please check your sources before positing wild statements , Japan emissions are much more then India and Pakistan , and also we can all here criticize USA , fair enough, but we all need to look at our backyard where oranges are wrapped in multiple layers of plastics it self

Well they will integrate driving license but every department will still ask you for residence certificate, instead of reading from my number card, so what’s the point of such digitization

How about tax adjustments, since whatever salary increases everyone will get that will end mostly end up in taxes, current tax structure is simply broken given inflation and yen devaluation
