Numbers in Hiroshima are not declining. Stable around 1200. Same as when the peak was in Tokyo.
Maybe the corona measures in Tokyo are better..

I personally had problem with that.
When the woman is divorced here doesn't mean that she lived with the husband till then.
My now wife was stuck in a marriage where the husband didn't want to sign the divorce documents for about 3 years.
She just got divorced by a lot of force after long struggle while she at this time got pregnant with our son.
If the timing had been worse my son would be her ex husbands son on paper.
Luckily we were able to marry after 100 days ....

Tell that mother's and father's of japanese children who can't enter Japan even they are married to japanese and have work in Japan.
Poor students mental health..... If their mental health is so fragile they shouldn't choose to study in Japan... Not the right place for a fragile mind

Getting more absurd when you think about a foreign resident who has home and family in Japan, paying a lot of taxes in Japan, but is not allowed to enter the country.
I wonder if there are legal ways to get taxes back that had been paid when not allowed to enter.

For a while I believed it's only omikron around and the other mutations are gone, based on all the omikron news.
I hope you and your families stay healthy.

Possible reason for low numbers:
High vaccination rate.
In Germany it's said that the vaccine does give you a good protection to not transmit the virus in the first 2-3 month, but this protection disappears.
Another reason is that japanese people don't go often to the doctor... If there is just a low fever or headache (thanks to the vaccine) they just go to work = No testing.

I heard that most of the tests they do are from healthy people which have to do tests at the airport for example when arriving in Japan.
This would explain why there are so many negative tests when you actually have to be really sick to get tested.
