I wonder how many spies are working at Mar-a-Lago at any one time. It’s such a treasure trove.

Narrow thinking—cult thinking.Pretty pervasive here.

All those contracts given for building it, all those contracts given for cleaning the mess up. Those company bosses must wake up every day and thank the LDP for the never ending flow of public money from the taxpayer to their bank accounts, and safe in the knowledge that it will never stop.

I am a nurse at a facility and a few days ago one of the patients tested positive and within a few days a third of the staff and half of the patients were infected. We continued to wear N95 masks and face guards, but the patients had dementia and were unable to wear masks. The remaining staff are now taking care of the patients, but we are overwhelmingly short-staffed and cannot provide satisfactory care, so it is like a field hospital with minimal care to save lives. Most of the patients are unable to rest, some are walking around without masks, and there is no hope for the situation to be resolved. By the way, everyone has been vaccinated. But since we are dealing with only elderly people, I'm really afraid of them getting seriously ill.
I'm so tired...I want a day off so I can sleep and not think about anything.

I would like to hear all the details of their defense, but I doubt we’ll ever hear anything else about this story.

This helps me understand what some people consider to be an accident.
“The Los Angeles County medical examiner-coroner‘s office ruled Anne Heche’s death an accident.”

So the expected 2 million tourists went elsewhere to spend their money and all those Japanese going overseas to spend their money in other countries. Thank you for your generosity Japan.

Well done. Dragging Japan’s reputation even lower.

That’s what I like to tell the Japanese who complain. If you don’t like it you can leave, it’s a big wide world out there. As well as telling them that statistically they’re more likely to commit a crime or offense than I am. I just have to look at my wife and her family. They’re not crimes but they are offenses. The simple reason is that when you live in another country the vast majority of people tend to behave better because you’re more of a target.

Neither side is going to win this war, and I hope it doesn’t continue for the 8 years that this one did.
Iran-Iraq War, (1980–88) Protracted and indecisive conflict prompted by Iraq’s invasion of its eastern neighbour. Following the 1979 Iranian Revolution, the Iraqi leadership sought to exploit Iran’s military and political chaos in order to resolve border disputes, gain control of Iran’s oil-rich western (largely Arab) province, and achieve hegemony in the Persian Gulf. Iraq was successful early (1980–82) but began to lose ground and sought to negotiate peace. Iran refused, and the war turned into a bloody stalemate that included the first use of chemical warfare since World War I (1914–18). After additional Iraqi advances, Iran agreed to a cease-fire in 1988.

Look up the definition of accident in the dictionary.
But for some people there is no such thing as an accident, someone must be to blame, and they must be punished. And if you’re a foreigner, you’re going definitely going to get punished.
Justice is supposed to be blind, it’s supposed to be equal-handed. It often isn’t.

I just have one question. Who steals the bag of a guy lying drunk in the street?
It couldn’t have been a Japanese, right?
