Nice to start the day looking at a win. But to be honest I wish there were better candidates to chose from.

Haven't been to the theater in a few years but went and saw "The Creator" last week. That was a good movie and should have gotten a little more attention.

"With the expiration of New York's Adult Survivors Act fast approaching, it became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life," she said.

Of course it was.

Quite a few weak minded people here. Normal people don't need either natural or artificial one.

You have some gummies before you wrote this?

Did I have some gummies before I READ this!?

Posted in: Studio Ghibli’s 'The Boy and the Heron' now has English dub trailer from its Hollywood-star cast See in context

Dubbed anime (and any TV shows or movies) are far inferior to subbed.

I agree with you there, not a huge anime fan but the English dubbs are horrible.

The only exception for me was Dragon Ball Z, I couldn't watch it in Japanese.

I don't remember who said it: to be America's enemy is dangerous, but to be America's friend (ally) is fatal....

Wow, extremely profound. Please provide an example of this "fatal" relationship.

World Police at it again. They just cant keep their hands to themselves as we draw closer and closer to the end of the US-led world order.

Didn't get passed the headline I see

*U.S. and coalition troops have been attacked at least 19 times in Iraq and in Syria by Iran-backed forces** in the past week. Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Lebanon's Hezbollah are all backed by Tehran.*

When I was stationed in Yokosuka, we ran plenty of war games and drills. I think it's a good thing for Japan and Korea to join in together this time. Loosen the tension that the old men generate yearly.

Nothing groundbreaking on the horizon...most makers just offering incremental improvements and charging higher prices , no wonder consumers are not in a hurry to upgrade.]

Perfectly put, I have a Galaxy and I used to change every 2 years cause the design and features were pretty good. Upgraded last year but I'll be keeping this one until the wheels fall of. Can't think of anything else I'd need a phone to do.

Roy,

the use of "minor", for this incident 14 or 19 is a big difference.

Posted in: Korea boom in Japan sparked by drama 20 years ago kept going by young See in context

Subtle they are not, poorly acted they are.

I kinda agree with this, every "Character" is a cookie cutout. "strong woman" = same stoic face and tone, "tough/bad guy" = same expressions, tone and lines. There's no one that stands out at all.

Some of the J-horror flicks were good though.

Andor was actually the best Star Wars series , The Mandalorian was decent but felt like a series of side quests from and old RPG. Was looing forward to Andor because Rouge One is probably the only one of the "new" Star Wars movies that was any good.
