Have more body guards standing by and simply have a bag check in/tag system where the organizers take your bag before walking to shake their hand and simply grab your stuff on the way out.

Posted in: Nurse's body was sent from Osaka to Tokyo in package marked 'doll' See in context

It is just a matter of time before they find these two culprits. In fact, it was a good thing that these two perps were quite stupid and used her credit card, etc., and not thinking that her body would not be found soon because of the smell. What is confusing is why this girl used a missing girl's passport in the first place, why not just use your own.

If anime characters can become famous rock stars in Japan, why can't robots.

If they literally took Taurus note sheet and transposed on to their own sheet while composing the song, i see something, but will be so difficult to prove for something so damn long ago. Waste of time and money and why is this coming out now, there should be a statute of limitations on this kind of stuff. And my guess is the general lyrics and spirit of the song is probably quite different than Taurus, in which case not plaguerism.

it is sad his name is being shattered throughout the news and pretty much disqualifying all his musical brilliance up until now. But rules are rules and he knew what he was risking. Why doesn't he just get drunk off his rocker and then wake up in the morning with RedBull.

TEPCO can never be in a winning position and are overwhelmed at the huge task of trying to uncontaminate the radiated water... but the fact is, there is just no more room for storage and must be released. They should not allow any local fisherman in the area.

I am sure he wanted a soiled one in the dirty laundry basket to make the experience more real. he may even wear it under his suit for kicks.

Posted in: Google self-driving car coming around the corner See in context

this certainly would revolutionize drink and driving. So if you have a driverless google car, can you be drunk inside and be legal? I would certainly rather have a driverless car using a computer than having a drunk person try and drive home while intoxicated.

welcome to the reality of tennis, one of the most grueling of sports. I would say it requires some of the most stamina, yet requires so much mental. Kei does alot of training on his back, but is just a sport that puts alot of stress on the lower back because of spin serves, stretching at weird angles for balls, etc. And am sure the air kei shot puts him at more risk for injury. He may have to resort to cortisone shots and alot of ibuprofen.

Posted in: FamilyMart installing electric vehicle charging stations See in context

I think the way forward is that they have electric rental cars, so that you can drive away on a fully charged car right away. I don't see a whole lot of business the other way around, unless you happen to live close by to a Family Mart. But a good start to electric cars.

Posted in: No. of accidents involving people using phones while walking increases See in context

More power to you Mr. Perfect, I sit on your side of the fence. These people who continuously use their smartphones while driving or riding a bike are just lethal weapons and pains me to see it. The problem is that it is like a disease, they are so engrossed and addicted to their smartphone that they cannot help themselves. Only way i see it, is for them to get a wake up call, and better to drag them out of their car then to have them crash into you. Honestly, it is a real addiction problem and without proper consciousness of it, the accidents will just continue to increase twofold.

Posted in: Police may film interrogations under new proposals See in context

the more transparency the better when it comes to the police, I don't trust them all and think many of them abuse their powers. If they claim they don't abuse their powers, then they should allow the filming. Coming from experience, as a foreigner, that many foreigners do not receive due justice whether your a victim or criminal. Many basic civil rights are taken away from you, and if you are not very suavy, they will take it away without you knowing. It is the institution to point out to you what your rights are from the onset, but many cops do not state this and quite frankly, not helpful at all.

If the mother of the guy and him visited the residence of the so called perp, then why didn't the police go to her residence instead of just showing a photo. Something missing here and hard to determine whether it was lack of due dilligence on the police side, or just wrong information from the so called victim.

Posted in: Driver turns herself in to police for failing to stop at yellow traffic light See in context

Speaking of yellow lights, I recently went through one and a bike cop was under the bridge waiting for someone to run a red, etc. Crazy thing is, I turned my head and caught his eye and I slightly panicked but realized I was already 60% through the intersection before turning red, but stopped on the other side before the line and did not cross. I looked at my rear mirror and did not see the coppertop and thinking that since I was already 95% through the intersection that I just went as there was no cross traffic in sight. Guess what, the bike cop pursued and stopped me and asked why I went through the red light. To make a long story short, he said that the most ideal thing I should have done when I stopped before the end of the intersection was to back up all the way to the other side. I argued that it would have been more unsafe to back up, but he was relentless in his interpretation of the law. Or, had I just stayed at the end of the intersection until the light turned green again, I would not have gotten a ticket. So there you go folks, more confusion to this yellow light.
