This seems very terrible.

Seems like that CEO took Elon Musk to court to ensure his own very lucrative exit.

People are saying that it is the mask wearing. Wearing masks all day is taking a huge toll on the children they say, and absent rates are skyrocketing.

Adidas did the right thing.

The one thing I don't get is why "white supremacy" is synonymous with antisemitism. Aren't Jewish people white?

Posted in: 7 injured in Saitama Aeon mall after woman pepper sprays them See in context

Was it at random? Or apparently at random? Because pepper spray can be effective non-lethal deterrence from those exuding aggression.

There is no policy forthcoming from the "leadership". The goal of these men is to get the job, not what they would do for the country when they get the job. No change, no policy, only pretence.

I'm pretty sure they now know that it is not anything to worry about. No problem promoting hypochondria to the population to sell pills and other drugs, but when it gets out of hand they show their cards. Money money money, why we know the "health" industry is not in business to make people healthy.

Posted in: Japan reports 45,505 new coronavirus cases See in context

How is this increase possible? The covid19 vaccine is not being widely dispersed? I have to question the integrity of the program when such an increase in the numbers is being reported and now the foreign tourists will flock here because of the drastic easing of border restrictions with the past 2.5 years a wasted effort after all.

Posted in: Japan's loosening of COVID-19 entry restrictions may keep citizens wearing masks See in context

OK, horrible infection rate when masks are being used. If the foreigner cannot wear the mask then how can infection rate go down from now? So, let's now know that if someone who has 3 shots of the covid19 vaccine comes back to Japan they might have covid, but how can they know if no test? So, the worst covid infection must be from someone who does not have the 3 shots, so blocked because they have the test and failed! It is brilliant policy. The foreigners shall flock to Japan.

Posted in: Pfizer COVID vaccine clears Japan panel for use with young children See in context

Must be hard a hard decision to make for a parent.

I don't think it is hard decision to make. Not giving your child something that might harm them with very little benefit is an easy decision to come to. Why would you trust the pharma companies to do the right thing? Just google "largest fine in criminal history". Now, would you entrust your child to them?

Don't confuse science with political science, and do not let them give shots to children. Very dangerous and sickening.

Did Russia halt the gas supply? I don't think that was Russia's decision. Also, the Nord pipeline was bombed, so that sure did halt the supply, but once again not by Russia's decision. This is not truthful news reporting.

Posted in: Kishida says Japan will ease COVID border controls from Oct 11 See in context

It hasn't been a deadly period because of Covid, it's the vaccines (especially boosters) killing people. It is classified as a covid-related death though. Cannot blame the vaccines, never question the vaccines.

The airports will descend into chaos. The system they have in place at the airport to check all this vaccine or test nonsense will not hold up.

Pandering to the overly-delicate Japanese so worried about foreign travellers. Gosh, move on for crying out loud. This Covid thing is over. If you really don't want non-domestic tourism then just keep the stupid entry restrictions and nobody will come.

Posted in: Japanese man sets himself on fire in apparent protest at Abe's state funeral See in context

Not sure this is a worthwhile form of protest. It is fine to strongly oppose the funeral, however once it is done nobody will even care. It would have been better to stand with a sign that says "I strongly oppose Abe's funeral". Maybe, shout it out a bit. That would have been better, I believe. I strongly oppose this manner of using fire.
