Jason Ma comments

China and Japan should be friends not enemies. If one try to see it from the Chinese point of view, they could not back down. China is trying hard to shake of this "sick man of Asia" identity. Also politically, both Chinese and Japanese want to see a "strong" government in their respective countries. However; I don't think it's in Japan's interests to retaliate strongly with the whole thing, there're already many problems in Japan and Korea and China stand together against Japan in territorial dispute issues.

Just wanna say that those Chinese people who set fire, looting and damaging Japanese brand properties were completely wrong. Not all Chinese people are like that. I want friendship with Japanese people. Ordinary citizens should not hold animosity with each other because of this. There should be a peaceful solution to this madness.

Honestly I don't support military war AT ALL! War is BAD. But I guess China can hurt Japan's economically. I've read that economists agree that Japan rely more on Chinese's market than the other way around. But honestly I wish there'd be a peaceful ending to all these.

All the setting of fire, looting and damaging properties in the protests are completely wrong. I'm ethnically Chinese and I don't agree with that at all. But I can sort of understand their anger.

I actually like a lot of things about Japan, unfortunately I do believe such current development regarding the Islands made a long-lasting damage to the friendship between Chinese and Japanese people. I think it's very unfortunate. I can understand why Chinese people believe that they have an legitimate claim of those Islands. I think the recent move by the PM of Japan has done nothing good for both countries. But of course I condemn hurting innocent people just because they are certain ethnicity, it's completely wrong and the offenders should be caught and punished according to the law.

China Should sever as much tie as possible with Japan. Starting now. It's obvious Japan don't want to be friends with China.
