How does he get away with moving 600,000 yen every day for about two weeks and the bank not notice? This is not unless he regularly moved a figure such as this. How did someone not notice this?

How can so many people do the wrong thing?! "possibly with a fine of 300,000 yen" if they made 500 workers exceed their hours the company will make their money. This needs to be a lot stricter.

It's funny how all you guys think the justice system in Japan is the same as in the US. They could lock you up in Japan with no justification for up to 3 months. The harder you try to fight the justice system the more of a sentence you'll have.

Japan has something crazy like a 98% conviction rate. Unfortunately once you get caught up in their system you simply have to own up to what you did and hope they'll let you out soon. The more you fight the legal system in Japan the longer you'll stay. This is the same standards for everyone. In the US you would have went to jail for a couple of days and trail. In Japan the minimum sentence is 90 days even if you did nothing at all. He was misinformed by his friend at the hostel and unfortunately this situation is going to take a while to get out of.

Why allow gambling now when pachinko parlors have literally been around for decades? This is already gambling. It seems like Japan wants to lure money from other countries. I could easily see a casino in the middle of Shinjuku.

Seriously what is wrong with these people. "In one of the notes found by police, Yua wrote: "I will do better tomorrow than today. Please forgive me." In another, she wrote she was sorry for playing and wouldn't do it again." :( :( :(

These companies want to sue and recall takata about these airbags when you know for a fact that they knew about this defect. They probably got the airbags at a discount knowing they had this problem.

"the arrest of the two under the public morals act for aggressive customer soliciting appears to be the first time the law was ever invoked for such a purpose." They should use this for all the other idiots in Roppongi that try to get you to go to their club promising fantasies. I literally saw sometime get stabbed with a broken beer bottle because of this grabbing.

Posted in: Trump revealed classified info to Lavrov at White House: officials See in context

I don't understand the problem here. The president has overall declassification authority to release any information he sees fit. Plus in this article it said that he didn't release anything that wasn't already known to the public. So why is the point of this entire article and what is everyone making such a big fuss over?

Does the media think we're stupid? Sarin was just mentioned as the method of attack in Syria recently and is mentioned previously from the train attacks in Japan but it was never ever mentioned at all in connection with North Korea. Why push this agenda? Just heard in the US that warships are being positioned off the coast of North Korea just in case they do another nuclear test so seriously which news should we follow more?

This poor train operator will be scarred for life because of someone's half thought selfishness. I'm not sure if there's an outlet for therapy. Either way his job will never be the same. For the guy who tried to commit suicide i'm sure he's going to wish he were dead with all the fines and compensation be will have to pay both to the driver and to the train company. He will most certainly go to jail for this actions.

There's no FDA like there is in Japan. I stayed away from all the drugs stores in Japan because their cough medicines contained codine and they would sell other medications that you would illegal to sell in the US over the counter that is much more harmful than marijuana.

Norovirus is not exactly food poisoning, it's more like people just didn't wash their hands however it can be airborne. When it becomes airborne it can no longer be classified as food poisoning. In the case of 49 people being infected this is probably what happened.
