There can be no other way, the Japanese time of aggression was indeed of great suffering to many countries and to the innocent people of Japan themselves.

Abe is politically dead already and equally stupid, there's no need to worry about what he has to say anymore

“It is true that the current China-Japan relationship is in difficulty," But Chinese restaurants, and massage parlors are doing so well in Japan. Japanese man Masters of love lol. I knew there had to be some love for china somewhere in Japan

"@Jay Manjarres They are called alliances. You might try them sometime." No one needs alliances that account for slavery and total restriction of opinion. Lip service only. An ally should be able to take a stance free from repercussions. Putting a country on a path of conflict just because it may lose their alliance later resulting in conflicts and sanctions or keeping them as friends so that they can back you up in international crimes is totally unacceptable. It is not the alliance any peaceful forward looking nation needs.

"the government had tried to stop the gaffe-prone former prime minister from traveling to the annexed peninsula, saying his action is at odds with Japan’s stance on the Ukraine situation." Japan does not have stance on the Ukraine situation all Japan does it's what's is dictated by Washington

No body should be imposed a TV channel, if so many people like it they should pay for a subscription but since the only advocates are working or related to NHK, they want to make it look like millions of people voluntarily wants to pay for it. I never watch it and my cable TV took money from me for NHK without my knowledge cuz I don't read but when I found out I discontinued it and the harassment began. It's been more than 5 years and they could continue sending bills every so often. I want the money cable filtered them back. I will never pay voluntarily for something I never contracted

Please what took you so long? a total halt on stop signs and red lights must be enforced just as for cars and motorcycles. And no more carrying three babies on them while talking on their cell phone!

Well, the fault falls on the people who are forcing Japan to take a posture they had abandoned for over 50 years on condition of keeping their alliances. Japan is not a world power, it enjoyed a couple of decades of great economic growth and as a pacific nation was doing just fine for themselves and with the rest of the world. Would tgey now want to engage in playing with the governments of the west, totally up to them but in today's world it comes at a price. What Abe means by no giving into terrorism? He already did at least to one side of it. The one that inflict casualties on Muslim almost daily

They don't have to be involved, in fact no one else should. If a country benefits in a business relationship where is it said that they have to defend the historical lingering issues of another country specially when one its know to have had a history of barbaric attacks against its neighbors

It does not matter if they kill a 100, 300 thousand or 1. you invade a country out of your own greed and kill one that's one to many. Japan has never given any aid China, they've been paying a fee not only to China but to North Korea that's been basically to tame them. This is a serious political issue and those who believe the Chinese just a had a sudden need to demand an apology or pay reparations are victims of their on ignorance, this been happening for decades,

Need to be told by whom? Who has the capacity to make China face consequences? LOL

I've tried almost everything, Lawson Family Mart etc but 7/11 gets my vote. Not only is the best but also the least expensive. It forced me to end my long term business relationship whit Doutor and made my occasional visit to Starbucks less frequent!

A woman at a local Kindergaten commented in recent days " My kids repeatedly hear the news of politician and SM clubs and the ask Mom what are SM Clubs?, I don't know what to answer!! I guess the best answer would be that there's not enough money in the system for a tax cut to the contrary it will continue increase or to improve their education facilities or to quickly fix the situation of the victims of the Fukushima tragedy but that there is plenty to play at SM Clubs!!

Was Japan really expected to win here or do well in the world cups they have taken part in the past? Its like you see it but choose to ignore the obvious disadvantages they have. In almost any sports their formula to advance has been that the best of their potential rivals don't participate due to injuries lack of interest in the vent or similar. Millions of dollars invested in couches from prestigious former winners for the same results have widely proved that!

May be they are not yet aware of the 7-11 high quality coffee for only a 100 yen, that cut my more than 10 years business relation with DOUTOUR. It's now rumored that 7-11 on certain location may add a terrace and tables. I believe the future of those who profit selling coffee for over 200 yen is uncertain

Are you all not missing the point? Since when TV is something that can be imposed on people?. The article above mention taxes which are within the scope of the law VS a volunteer payment that was agreed by some people nearly 2 generations earlier. There's no Law no contract and democratically speaking, are we saying that people have no choices and must give up viewing videos, playing games or contracting with cable companies they agree to pay and view just because of NHK, In addition in this country you can't even apply for a loan if you can't read the contract but if you don't care about NHK programing or understand it, you are obliged to pay?? and if you don't they will engage in Ganster like tactics prosecution.
