So many great foundation tunes on the Sleng Teng riddim and all thanks to this Casio. Great to see this lady getting her dues. Big up!

In addition to dancehall reggae, the entire bedrock of hip hop was also built on Japanese technology. Without names like vestax, technics, akai, Roland etc. there would be no hip hop. Hope to hear those stories some day

@dredlew

it would have been around 10k. That’s how many there were the two days prior. Positivity rate around 8-9%. Check the municipal website for the latest.

Hopefully covid prevalence goes down enough again to indulge in some eating drinking and onsen time. Then on to the next wave and back here bickering again!

Posted in: Two decades after 9/11, Muslim Americans still fighting bias See in context

@Jon Doe

What on earth are you talking about?! Muslims destroyed Greek civilization? Greek civilization had disappeared well before there was any such thing as a Muslim. What exactly was in medieval Europe that needed protection from Muslims? I also suppose that Muslims contributed nothing to the parts of Europe that the did conquer like Spain or Eastern Europe?

How about you tell us the percent of American Muslims acting on extremist ideologies? How many churches have they burned, how many more Americans have they killed than anyone else?

You sir, have a lot of googling and wiki’ing to do. Start there, then move on to books and come back with your answers please.

Cases falling, test positivity rates falling, vaccinations increasing and very low incidents amongst high mortality cohorts. All good news unless you what you wanted was bad news.

Japan still has the lowest Covid mortality amongst all the G7 and all without any lockdown. If you dont believe the j-gov ask any life insurer. Their profits depend on it.

@Jim

The test positivity rate is currently around 15% in Tokyo and I don’t think it’s ever been over 40%. Where are you getting this data?
