I dno man, here in Europe we are hitting record numbers every day, but hospital cases are dropping, and duration of hospital stays are shorter and shorter. The news is saying EU is considering omicron more and more to be a flu. My country is lifting most restricrions tomorrow.

Wanted to cause an incident so he could die..

I'd rather he go to the suicide forest and not get innocent victims involved.

I'm from the Netherlands, the news here is speaking of a highly amaturistic event, and a disaster so far. Can't blame them.

Literally a minute ago on the Dutch news about the poor circumstances the athletes in quarantine are in. No fresh air, no daylight. What a joke.

Got my shot today. In the Netherlands, and perhaps other countries, it was decided that you only require 1 shot if you have had a corona infection. No real sideeffects, my arm just feels like I went to the gym for 5 hours.

Posted in: Tokyo reports 1,502 new coronavirus cases; nationwide tally 6,587 See in context

It's pretty clear that the Japanese government is doing an excellent job of testing only those tha tmight be infected rather than testing everyone else that do not need to be tested.

What are you talking about??

The only thing they are excellent at is taking as little responsibility as possible and doing everything they can to force the Olympics.

Posted in: Gov't to expand state of emergency to cover Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo See in context

Japan, as usual trying to save face by putting out some international news that they are doing something. Meanwhile in reality all they do is have some more meetings, start urging, and ignore every situation where rules get broken and lines get crossed.

Posted in: Suga pledges to improve coronavirus situation in 1 month See in context

“ The state of emergency will:

ask residents to refrain from nonessential outings after 8 p.m.

call for restaurants and bars to stop serving alcohol by 7 p.m. and close by 8 p.m.

encourage companies to have employees work from home or stagger shifts to reduce people in office by 70 percent.

not ask schools to close, unlike previous state of emergency last spring. “

We'll know they mean business once they start urging ;)

What does he even mean second lockdown? as if the first SOE became close to an actual lockdown, and neither will this one. Just a whole lot of meetings and urging.
