Nice, urging, cause that apparently worked so well in the past. Grow a pair and take action and responsibility, not everything revolves around you saving face.

I can already visualize it. Depressed looking athletes competing without any effort, and just the olympic committee cheering in an absolute quiet and deserted stadium.

You know a country is bot attractive when even HK companies don’t see it as an improvement. Well done Japan!

so young, sad that he never got to see the better days that come with getting out of JHS.

You mean bullying bosses and tons of overtime. Yes, students in Japan really have a career to look forward to.

Posted in: Suga to hold phone talks with Biden on Thursday or Friday See in context

What victory. Not even all states have been counted, and there hasn’t been an official result yet. Unless you think the newschannels are the ones deciding the winner.

Posted in: Japan to make special allowance for entry of athletes before Olympics See in context

Japan, stop kidding yourself. This is going to be a joke of an event, if it happens at all.

Posted in: Tokyo reports 209 new coronavirus cases nationwide tally 864 See in context

But Japan does only test people who want to get testes, thus are experiencing symptoms therefore are more likely to test positive. I think if they were to test every single person in Tokyo the % would probably be lower.. right..?

Posted in: Suga's pledge to boost fertility treatment won't reverse declining birth rate, say experts See in context

It is super expensive, I remember myself and my partner looked into it back when the doctors said we only had a 2% chance to get pregnant naturally. By some miracle she did, We found out a day before the appointment.

Should people be psychologically screened before having children?

I’m afraid this country’s population would decline even faster, but judging the way Japan handles psychological disorders I think this won’t happen anytime soon.

Yesterday the 25% positive rate, with today a major improvement, JUST in time for Tokyo’s Go To start. How incredibly convenient.

Posted in: Tokyo Olympic athletes to be exempted from virus entry bans See in context

Ugh.. just postpone to 2024.. stop trying to force it down everyone’s throats. Most Japanese I know don’t even want it to take place next year. But yea, why would the government care about what the citizens want, they have other priorities like money and saving face.

Posted in: As sports embraces activism, what should Tokyo Olympics permit? See in context

Ugh.. can we keep sports and politics separate please.. If I watch sports, it’s to relax and get my mind off of crisises and negativity. Besides, many athletes (not all) have no clue what they’re talking about, which is understandable, they are not politicians, but often they are role-models and spread biased uninformed crap that does more damage than it actually helps.
