@Gareth Myles

You don't need any proof of vaccination to enter Japan depending on which country you're coming from.

@starpunk, relax he's not president. He lost. You can get over it now. The only way he could ever be in a position to threaten us with his violent antichrist fascist treasonous activity would be if the current administration did so poorly and the economy was suffering so much that people saw trump as a response to poor governance by the establishment. But that won't happen. Biden is literally the best president the US has ever had and he's definitely going to server another term.

@Elvis, The reality is that the vaccines don't work in the way that would be needed to end a pandemic. So the prolonging was caused by the overreactive measures that kept people isolated. It's okay to disagree though. That's the process of learning.

He's got his tie off, shirt top unbuttoned, how can you not trust such a relatable public figure? So what he pushed a very specific viral origin hypothesis to the tune of $9mil! He did it in the interest of public health! Masks? Why do you keep bringing this up? They don't work until they do then when they work, they work best when you wear two, then the science changes and we all move on. Why can't people just move on? It's not like he advocated closing schools and shuttering the economy. At least he didn't push a bogus vaccine or something. Sheesh!

I think people won, again. In fact humans have won against every single evolutionary foe, ever. That's why we're still here destroying the planet and reclassifying covid to be the flu that it always was. Humans: 1, virus: 0

Mask wearing in Japan was always only voluntary with certain businesses demanding staff and or customers wear them. Which is legally a violation of even Japan's lax human rights. So the change is only a talking point. Wear one or don't as you like as has been the case.

@iraira,

There are literally staff who stand at the entrance to venues telling people to put on a mask. This of course goes against the guidance of the MHLW, which says no one shall be forced to wear a mask against their will. There's a lawyer suing a major hotel right now so we'll see what happens with that. Would be really convenient if venues no longer feel the need to violate human rights anymore just as the lawsuits start rolling in.

If you're not sick, as in no symptoms, you shouldn't wear a mask all day. After about half an hour it's permeated with your breath moisture and useless. The negative effects of bacterial growth are real. It's basically child abuse to force healthy children to wear them. It also has an entire host of anti social effects. Anyone who put one on their healthy child was wrong to do so. "your over reacting, Jeff." No, the past three years of masking was an overreaction. Stop it now!

@virusrex, exactly. Information as opposed to the very common misinformation such as "safe and effective, you won't catch covid, you won't spread covid. Or the most dangerous pathogen this century. Or masks work if you wear the same one all day. Or that social distancing in public is based off of any scientific study at all." Lots of misinformation out there for sure!

We simply need a top down medical technocracy whereby sovereign municipalities can no longer infringe on the freedoms of the elite to instill fear and control over the unwashed disease ridden masses. We need to eradicate disease the same way we successfully eradicated terrorism, poverty, crime, and climate change. We're all in this together.

Why do you need to follow anyone? Or did you decide for yourself getting a brand new untested treatment was the "right choice" after months of fear mongering, coercion and propaganda from the media and the Experts in Science?

"You won't catch covid or spread it if you get the vaccine." Well, that was a lie.

@funkymofo

"Who's this 'we'? You and the other Facebook University alumni?"

Really anyone who gets their information from published studies rather than so called fact checking websites. Do you know who pays those fact checkers? Also, the claim that mRNA spike protein is found in the blood is not debunked by claiming it's not dangerous. It's like the FDA saying "yeah a few maggots in your food should be fine." It's definitely in there. The maggots in the food, and the spikes in the blood. That's just how it is.

Posted in: Vaccine misinformation spawns 'pure blood' movement See in context

"When people take irrational decisions that increase the risk for others it is valid that they will have to deal with the consequences of their decisions."

You really don't have any idea what you're talking about. People who refused to take the vaccine, so called "purebloods", don't pose any more risk to others than those who were vaccinated. This is ACCORDING TO THE CDC. Sorry for the capitalization it's just that this particular piece of misinformation is getting tiresome. IF the vaccine were showed to STOP transmission even somewhat, then maybe it would be a concern to allow "purebloods" to comingle with the upgraded humans.

"My vaccine doesn't work unless you take yours, something something, redefine herd immunity. "

Just stop it already.

5 ( +11 / -6 )

Posted in: Vaccine misinformation spawns 'pure blood' movement See in context

Maybe they shouldn't have tried to force people to prove vaccination status? Maybe this is more a reaction to the notion that unvaccinated people are to be discriminated against in normal society? A lot of people would agree that people without a vax pass shouldn't be allowed in certain venues. So those people who are against that kind of discrimination have just doubled down with a ridiculous claim of "purity". Idk, just wondering.

Posted in: Climate change trauma has real impacts on cognition and the brain, wildfire survivors study shows See in context

@virusrex,

Based on your logic, bad things are now bad not only because they were bad before but now they're bad because of climate change. So if climate change weren't happening should we be less concerned with the trauma someone endures due to wildfires?

My point, which you will miss, is that linking trauma from natural disasters to climate change is simply a narrative tool by the propagandists at The Conversation to promote radical progressive policy making.

Nothing good will come from this article except to further stoke paranoia in those who buy into the global public private partnership sustainable development goals that seek to reduce individual freedoms to save the planet from the doom those very groups have caused.

Posted in: Climate change trauma has real impacts on cognition and the brain, wildfire survivors study shows See in context

It's not like climate change isn't obvious. It is. It's not like natural disasters like wildfires aren't traumatic. They are. But this fetish towards quantifying everything as being worse because of climate change is so ridiculous. Bad trauma is not better or worse because of the cause. Bad trauma is always bad. It's about creating a new narrative where every problem of human existence is now rerouted to a climate related cause. This is psuedoscientific because it forms a preconceived basis where there necessarily isn't one.

"People whose lives are ruined by wildfires are even more traumatized when the wildfires are caused by climate change." If this is the assertion then it's a laughable one.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Posted in: Climate change trauma has real impacts on cognition and the brain, wildfire survivors study shows See in context

The Conversation at it again with even more woke psuedoscientific propaganda. It's not "Climate Change Trauma" it's just trauma. It can be caused by natural disasters or imposed on one from another. It's just trauma and it's been the tool of brainwashing and mind control for a very long time.

I only wear a mask when I have some sort of respiratory symptom like sneeze, cough, or runny nose. Happened once this past winter. Otherwise, no mask. It's unnecessary and incredibly unhygienic to keep it on all the time. Now watch all those people saying it was to protect others keep it on to now protect themselves.
