Posted in: Alcoholism, suicides rising among farmers hit by nuclear crisis See in context
Good gawd... I must say, I've never felt suicide is the answer and never will. What this area needs is alot of blood, sweat and tears (I know they've already experienced that, but i'm talking in a productive way!) the government and the people need to work together to rebuild this area of Japan, how can they do that if everybodys becoming alcoholics and suicidal, with the government sitting on their bums in the office 'discussing' what to do. They need ACTION, NOT discussion!
I can only imagine what they're going through, and I'm sure the government is going nuts on what to do (I assume) but both suicide and alcoholism are giving up. What happened to the Japan 'fighto!' spirit.
I'd gladly, go to Japan and help, all I need is a passport and a plane ticket (luckily don't need a visa hehe) then I'd be so there! But i'm broke and can't afford it... So, I send support in spirit and hear about how horrible it is from my friends in Japan and I am working towards going there to help out!

The majority of people joined out of curitosity, as did I and found it simple and boring. There is nothing special about it and personally I get more out of facebook. If they want to catch my attention: more colour, more imagination and have something totally unique to google+ that captures attention.
There are a few things that appear unique to google+, but the 'circles' aren't very special, you can put your friends into different categories, we can do that on facebook. Webcam possibilities and chatting online, we have skype and msn. Combining them all is a good idea, but there needs to be something that draws us too it, and they haven't done it for me.
The site is too simple and boring to keep my attention.

And there are a few Japanese who ignore the "do not photograph" or "do not use flash" signs in churches abroad.
I ignore those to.. the "sacred" thing doesn't matter to me ;o i is evil.
Hm, from what i've seen, Indians, Americans and Muslims. Not all of them of course! I know quite a few who aren't. But those are the mains i see.

er... timorborder LOL,
no, i say however people want to divorce is there choice, if they want to do a ceremony let them.. lol i reckon its a way to end it peacefully, it's better than going to the lawyers and paying hundreds to get screwd over by another lawyer your ex was paying, then have war lol I reckon the best end is a mutual agreement between divorcees, that allows them to conduct the most peaceful method to seperate from eachother... -.- but thats in an ideal world right? haha

I can understand why westerners are againt whaling but i can also see why Japan is not ^^
Some obvious reasons being, they were brought up with it being ok and its a source of food.
westerners, strangly, seem to not know how we get fish, ya know the stuff we buy in the markets and shopping cetres? it comes from the sea! ;o shock and horror!!!! ^^
I can understand whales are important and all, but unfortunatly there is going to be a drop in sea creatures AND land creatures, we cant just stop that from happening, save the animals or quit eating any kind of meats? and dont go herbivore on me cause i dont want that option xD good for you if you are, but that doesnt mean the rest of us have to ^^.
We are born meat eaters, hunters, and we are trying to stop something that years ago was the natural way to get food (and still is) and nobody thought twice about it? Since then population has grown, and food demands have increased, plus some people are pigs these days, and stuff there faces even without being hungry.

Like i always say 'Always look on the brightside of life!" If they continue to look on the bad side, nothing will be solved. They will get sadder and stressed, this will hurt the family more and their job performance will slide. They should be happy they atleast have a job, and work hard with a smile on their facing so their children wont feel stressed about the families situation.

This is happening around the world, not just japan. I believe what might help this situation is setting up a better communication between the patients. Inform them they are still of importance but there are people who are worse off who need the bed they are in. Then Direct them and a designated driver in the right direction to a place in which the less severe are treated. Making sure the place is aware they are coming and good directions are given. If there is no such place, make one. Be firm but fair, it is the only way.

Permanent Residents or Citizens should be able to vote, temporary or non citizen's should not. Like Ranger_Miffy said above, "Just because one lives here, though, should not give one the right to vote." Citizens mainly should be allowed.

The reason its classified as a dance is because things like this are just like gymnastics which is why its called 'rythmic gymnastics' it involved alot of work just like gymnastics does, the only differences are... they turn there gymnastic moves to go with the music more and they use a prop..

“What you make of your education will decide nothing less than the future of this country,” Obama says. “What you’re learning in school today will determine whether we as a nation can meet our greatest challenges in the future.”
Well i have to agree with this, you kids need a better education though. look how many idiots have grown up and become biggger idiots and then run for a government job. They need a BETTER education yess, but even though the kids are our future, its the stupid teachers and education SYSTEMS that should be put into check. and the PARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^

Your families, your teachers, and I are doing everything we can to make sure you have the education you need to answer these questions. I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books, equipment and computers you need to learn. But you’ve got to do your part too. So I expect you to get serious this year. I expect you to put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great things from each of you. So don’t let us down – don’t let your family or your country or yourself down. Make us all proud. I know you can do it.
Ok.. thats a little to much pressure to put on primary school kids.. (elementary school kids), maybe upper high school, ya know, years 10-12, but yeh.. lower then that, they are still learning, there main focus should be Learning, Making friends and finding themselves slowing in there own time.. not all this "dont let your country down", damn thats a big motivation for some, but it could be too much stress for others.. "Cant let the president down or my country i have to pass 2nd grade speelling - OMG i spelt reading wrong! IVE LET THE COUNTRY DOWN!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" lol over dramatic i know but can you see where im coming from here!

But I would rather them tell us everything then tell us nothing, and to be honest, if you think this is bad?
