"Confiscation of the cellphones by teachers is a life threatening act that can cost a child their life."
Exaggerate much?

Controlling them is easier said than done, I've been there. Remember, they're kids and they will find every possible way to keep texting each other. I'm okay with kids bringing cellphones to school for contacting their parents and for emergency use but when class starts they should be inside lockers, hopefully with ringtones turned off.

i've briefly assisted at a school that allows cellphones for kids, all they do is text each other in class NONSTOP!

With the way they're fighting over those islands I don't see a resolution anytime soon. Seriously, they should stop all that bickering and just SHARE those islands like good neighbors.

McDonald's burgers (also their fries) never decompose even after years of being left out in the open. The number of chemicals that go into these burgers are outrageous. I stopped eating their products about a year ago and whenever I get a craving for one of them I remind myself of these facts and the craving goes away.

wow, i did a paper on macrobiotics in 9th grade for biology, never thought i'd see that word again. In my opinion, you should try this diet every once in a while to "cleanse" your body but I know this diet won't last too long because you'll definitely get sick of eating brown rice and beans everyday.... trust me, I've tried this before. A traditional Japanese diet is more than adequate for maintaining good health and you don't necessarily have to go to extremes as I think that forcing down stuff that doesn't taste very good does more harm to your body.

I've been "teleworking" from home for a number of years now and it does have its ups and downs but I save a lot of money on gas and most importantly I have more time to be with my family. I hope this becomes more common in the future, I think it's a fantastic idea as I'm all for practicality.
