Posted in: Pros and cons of visiting Shanghai Expo See in context

Shanghai is a great city, allways moving so it is well worth the trip in itself for the fun of it's night life. But in the city itself there isn't much to visit, you have to travel around for that. Going there just for the expo.. i was tempted, until i heard you had to queue 4h to go in the most popular buildings, only to stay there 15 mn.

in the english channel.. the 25 miles doesn't apply. there's a international corridord betwenn France and England where ship navigate along. It is like a tunnel, you go up the channel on the right side, and down the channel toward spain on the left side (near english coast).

Also the article state

the site is 40 to 64 kilometers from the English coast, outside of its territorial waters.

Posted in: How difficult or easy is Japanese to learn, compared to other languages? See in context

i learned japanesse and chinesse for 2 years each, first starting with japanesse. I found chinesse more difficult specially prononciation, and all those words you need to learn, but the good thing is that grammar is easier. I tended at times to get mixed up between chinesse and japanesse prononciation.
