Striving = we’re incompetent, but we’re going to make it look like we’re doing something.

Everyday it’s always a thought about the future. Hoping, envisioning, planning, considering etc .

Unnecessary for a guy to take months off for paternity leave. Just give him a normal 8hr working day with free weekends and regular holidays. Simple.

Posted in: Trouble mars skateboarding's rising popularity in Japan See in context

As a family we keep our inline skates in the car so we can skate anywhere anytime, but we do face hurdles.

No space, confused security who assume it’s dangerous and illegal because it’s something they’ve never seen . The skate parks are okay, but we prefer to cruise out in the open and take in the sights. Skating in a pack , Euro dad, Japanese mom and 2 hafu kids , you can imagine the attention we get.

Doctors in private hospitals are being asked to dedicate an extra 2-4 hours of their daily time to vaccinating.

Some may dedicate their lunch breaks and that’s all. Some patients are unable to attend at that limited time.

Time to reexamine some basic truths.

The overwhelming majority of these racist violent perpetrators are black.

Instead we only hear about the fake, made up racism aimed at blacks.

That’s pretty messed up.

Great work guys. We need more young people stepping up and taking charge and especially young women.

I’d always thought that it was illegal to use martial arts on the street in Japan, even in a self defence situation.

For many, staying home isn’t an option. Fact being that their dwellings aren’t that homely. They’re void of character, space and comfort. Most are a cramped box with a futon and a microwave. Uncomfortable living spaces and an over abundance of cafes, bars, and izakaiya go hand in hand. On average people go to the supermarket 3 times a week due to not enough freezer/ cupboard space and also diet. Then there are those who never cook and rely solely on dining establishments. For many , wandering about shopping malls is their freedom from the cage.

How typical. My daughter had a mermaid fin about 5 yrs ago . She didn’t need tuition. About 10 yrs ago I was telling a J friend I used to skateboard. He asked if I went to a special school for that. There’s an obsession with instruction. I guess it stems back from school.

Asking about the colour of someone’s skin is not racist. To claim racism illustrates an insecurity towards ones own race or conveniently using the race card as a weapon.
