Posted in: Japan should accept more refugees, fix asylum system: UNHCR See in context

Should I choose to move to another country...Japan lets say. Then I would learn their language...their customs in order to fit as best I could, and would be thankful for the opportunity. These refugees will come into a country then push their views/religious dogma onto their host nation. For instance....I read about a Muslim whom stated he was discriminated against as he was not allowed to pray several times during his work shift. Then many others joined in and said they needed a "Prayer Room" at work. If your religion is so enlightening then one would think that your god would be tolerant/understanding that you did not pray while you are at work. Take a look at the EU right now and all the problems they have been having with the massive influx of refugees. I realize I speak only for myself but I think it would a bad decision for Japan to take in the refugees. Even their neighboring countries do not want them. Many will not mix....their culture is the only one that matters and if you do not believe in their religion then you matter not.

"agreed that those deemed economic migrants—from countries not at war—would be sent home within three weeks." So what is to keep them from saying " I am from Syria and lost all of our identification when we were robbed along they way".....or some other excuse. Then give somebody else's name that they know from a country that is at war. It is a good move to send them back but this may be another can of worms trying to verify their claims. Well done and best of luck Germany.

...'unnatural popularity'...In a society that is nearly worked to death and loves cosplay. This is a perfect day, you get see mass cosplay and let your hair down so to speak. I see nothing unnatural about it, just people having a safe and good time to release some the stress from their daily grind.

Posted in: Ogata urges Japan to do more to help refugees See in context

It would be a big mistake for Japan to take in the refugees. First of all....ever notice how many of them are men in their early twenties or are capable of fighting for their own country. Not long ago refugees threw bottles at police because they would not let pass into their country.....seriously. If I want a favor from another country I would not go about by fighting with their police. So if they are willing to fight with police.....how well do you think they will behave in your country. A country has EVERY RIGHT to deny entry.....just look at France and the serious problems they have over there with immigrants. These so called immigrants are merely headed for a country that they can leach off. Then they will begin to make demands under religious claims etc. While I do understand that there are many whom just want a better life those are outnumbered by those whom will look merely for a handout. So when they get to Japan.....what jobs are they going to do? How many do you think speak Japanese? So what exactly can they do......draw free money while they attend classes for a few years just to be able to barely speak Japanese. They will demand interpreters...then there is no need to learn to speak the native language. Simply put....it would be a big mistake for Japan to take in the refugees. I wonder how many Refugees China or Russia is taking in.....oh that's right, they do not want to go those countries because they will not much of anything free. Why are not trying to migrate to other middle east countries.....what no free stuff or is it that those countries just do not want them so it is up to everybody else to take them in. A lot can be learned from just looking at the middle east.....their own neighboring countries do not want the masses as they know many will be nothing but trouble.

"frustrated men — many of them war refugees from Syria and Iraq — hurled rocks and plastic water bottles at the helmeted riot police as they chanted “Open” Open!” in English."

So you want a favor from another country and this is how you go about getting it. I completely agree with Hungary. While some just want to pass through some will stay. From what I have read many want into the EU countries because they can get free handouts off the backs of taxpayers.

It just seems odd that so many of these that are trying flee are able bodied young men. Which says a lot to many...Why should we fight for our own country when we can come to yours and get free stuff. Like many others have pointed out why not try to get into other Arab countries?

Posted in: Obama's Iran deal gains Democratic backing heading toward vote See in context

I fail to see how anyone can think this is a good deal.......here is the latest to come to light.

According to media reports, China announced the prospect of a billion-dollar deal to sell Tehran 24 advanced jet fighters for the air force in exchange for access to Iran's largest oil field.

Russia indicated that it would now go forward in selling as many as four S-300 surface-to-air missile systems to Iran, which would, of course, significantly bolster Iran's air defense capabilities against any outside force. And speaking of Russia, despite denials from the Kremlin, it played host to the head of the Iranian Al Quds force, Qassem Soleimani, even though he remains on a UN list of individuals banned from such travel, at least for a few more years. Washington protested the trip, but to no avail.

Iran has just produced a new film with an arresting title - "Preparation of the Complete Destruction of Israel by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's Islamic Revolution in Iran." And the calls for "Death to America" are undiminished, including those chanted loudly at a rally addressed by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei just days after the JCPOA was signed.

This is who they want to make a deal with.

Posted in: U.S. to 'fine tune' Iraq strategy in light of Ramadi debacle See in context

The Iraqi Army is very good at marching in parades, but when time comes for battle to defend their own country, they flee. They also leave behind millions of dollars worth of equipment and ammunition paid for by the United States that the terrorist ISIS army then uses against them. Should we maybe send the equipment directly to ISIS and eliminate the middleman?

The U.S. has spent $25 billion to train and arm the Iraqi army in the last decade with literally nothing to show for it.

Read more: http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2015/05/why_the_iraqi_army_runs_away_in_battle.html#ixzz3bUJWCS2r

Carter was particularly critical of the terrorists’ taking of the Sunni town of Ramadi, which lies exactly on the road from Baghdad to Jordan, when huge numbers of Iraqi forces decided to flee from ISIL, leaving behind valuable American weaponry.

Now, we could end it right there, with nods and sighs and heads shaking, and leave the question of “Why don’t the Iraqi troops fight?” out there on the horizon like an eternally unanswerable question. But I don’t think it’s unanswerable, and I think so less today than 12 years ago.

In fact, I found one of the most revealing analyses of the Iraqi fighting capacities last week on the front page of The Washington Times. The analysis is so simple and so right, one can only wonder at how the White House and Pentagon leadership could have missed it for so long.

The story is mostly an interview with former Army Staff Sgt. Matt Pelak, who had helped train some of the first post-Saddam Hussein Iraqi forces in 2004. The officer told the paper “that the nation’s soldiers are likelier to lay down their weapons and flee in the face of a fight because the force is largely devoid of leadership and operating under a fractured government.”

Or: Iraqi forces believe they have nothing to fight for ......

March 31st 2015 - Houston News: "Just last weekend, at a rally in the northern part of the country, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was interrupted by the chant as he was denouncing American “lies” and “arrogance.” He smiled and responded, “Of course, yes, death to America, because America is the original source of this pressure.”

March 23rd 2015 - NY Post: Iran’s supreme leader rallied his country to endorse the ongoing nuclear negotiations with the US — while at the same time shouting, “Death to America!” along with the unruly crowd.

Pressed by CNN’s Jim Acosta: “And you feel like you can negotiate in good faith with a Supreme Leader who is calling for ‘Death to America’?”

Earnest replies: “Jim, what we have seen is — we have seen the Iranians sit down at the negotiating table and demonstrate a willingness to have constructive conversations.”

Iran Militia Chief Again Vows To Destroy Israel–Says Destruction Is Non-Negotiable. The religion of peace strikes again, this time from the Islamic theocracy of Iran. Yes, the same Iran that President Obama is attempting to appease with the pathway of eventually developing a nuclear weapons capability.

Iran will never change its view of Israel....nor its view of America. To think Iran will not attempt to build a Nuclear bomb is foolish.

I hope many people are correct and that this was a good deal....I really hope they are right because if you're wrong.

I am curious....Would it not mean more if someone from the Royal-Emperor's family made a heart felt apology? Were they not consulted during the war, did they not have any input as to what was being done? If the eldest member of the Royal family made an apology on behalf of all Japanese past and present... also addressing the issues at hand should that not leave no doubt in anyone's mind as to the sincerity of Japan. Even if the oldest member of the family was only a child at the time of the war, one would have to think that such an apology should lay the issue to rest.

Is it wrong to ask the Royal family to do such as thing?... Or have they already done so? I do not know...I am merely asking.
