"IF it werent for "loose money" and other stimulus policies, the 2008 disaster would still be with us. Like Greece, which was forced into the opposite policy direction: austerity. Boy that worked well, didnt it? YOu might have noticed that now the Europeans, having watched the QE experience in the US and Japan, have decided to follow suit with "loose money.""

Is that supposed to be a joke?? Not only is 2008 still with us but it has been thickly papered over with freshly printed Weimar-money. What's coming will make 2008 seem like a picnic. The Swiss just effectively threw the euro under the bus, separating before the collapse of the euro. The wind is blowing on the house of cards.

The prudes who convulse at the sight or even suggestion of the view of a nipple make me laugh. Tempest in a D-cup, indeed! On one hand, the feminists of Femen bare their breasts in protest against inequality, and other Victorian feminists shriek "exploitation" when female models willingly pose nude or topless. Quite the contradiction.

"This assumes that the owner in question came to possess their property without theft, coercion, force, or exploitation in the first place."

Did you miss the part where I said "Earn your own"?

Earn: transitive. verb: earned, earn·ing, earns

To gain especially for the performance of service, labor, or work: earned money by mowing lawns. To acquire or deserve as a result of effort or action: She earned a reputation as a hard worker.

Isn't it the group Femen that goes about exposing their breasts as a form of protest? Free the nipple? Seems hypocritical.

Want money? Fine! Earn your own. Taking property from another person against the owner's wishes is theft. Doing so under the direct or implied use of force is armed robbery.

Just imagine all the lost revenue from the lack of moving violations. Kinda doubt gubmints will go along with that. No speeding tickets, no traffic light violations, no DUI/DWI. That's a LOT of people's money governments won't get.

Mark this as the beginning of the demise of the Euro. And then other QE-inflated currencies. The de-dollarization is not far off, either.

Jimizo, you might also like Jr's "Get Rhythm".

I have some Garth Brooks CDs among my very varied collection. "Friends in Low Places" may be my favorite. Great for a Friday night. Elvis's "Little Sister" is another favorite.

Good move by the Swiss. They finally decided to get out of the race to the bottom. Those shorting Swiss francs got caught with their trousers at their ankles and are now broke.

Some fallacies keep getting recycled by Keynesian scalawags such as : Falling prices may sound good in principle, but when sustained they can choke the life out of an economy by encouraging consumers and businesses to delay spending in the hope of bargains down. ""
