Virusrex, the BOM is known for fudging data to affirm certain political beliefs. The rot goes deep.

Yes the BOM have been pushing this as the hottest summer on record, when all south east of Australia has had the coolest and wettest summer ever recorded. The Data don,t support the BOM narrative.

I say it again I believe in Climate change. But will not believe the narrative BOM is pushing when their when Data proves the opposite.

http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDN60801/IDN60801.95937.shtml

Why do the BOM and science push propaganda to gain the narrative because the politic is moving to slow in their opinion. So they resort to a fear campaign to pressure the Politic to move faster on moving away from fossil fuels to green energy. Data don't lie but humans will.

off the back of slavery. Minimum wage is nothing short of slavery. $2.10 an hour plus earnings from begging or tipping. It disgusting that their society allows still allow slavery. This why the USA has such high crimes and homeless and a thriving drug industry. If you fall into this minimum wage sector you would be better off obtaining a gun and rob people. I will never buy another made in USA product until their society totally ban form of slavery and start paying a decent minimum wage.

Mate you burn off annually every winter that why we never had Mega fires until they stop the annually burn offs. Fuel build up occurs from NOT BURNING OFF annually . No fuel no MEGA Fires. It that simple. Like Bad haircut stated. You have proven one thing by not fully evaluating what people are telling you. They are not denying climate change we are denying your knowledge of the subject and a scientific study of a few recent years don,t have more credence this 50,000 years of living in harmony with the landscape. If you can not understand I am feel sorry for you.

This has been the wetness and coldest summer I can remember in my area 300 south of Sydney. Here is the data of every day this summer from BOM station at Moruya airport not 5 km from my place so you can understand what you read in studies does not reflect the reality.

Mate if there no fuel there is no mega fire. Fire and Mega fire are totally different animals. Climate change is not a factor when there is no fuel to fuel a Mega fire in the Australia landscape. It obvious you have never been the Australian landscape or you would know this. Have you ever experience a Mega fire. You don,t hang around to fight one these monsters. You head for a safe place until it passes. Hence the notice given to not to stay and fight. Climate change effect cool climate forest where there was never a need for annual burn off because the ground moisture content have never dry up until recently because of Climate change. With climate change the floor of cool forest dry out and became a huge problem. The expert for the Australian bush are the First Nation people and if we listen to them there would be no mega fires. Off course there will always be fire but these type of burn themself out due to no fuel.

Yeah Nah, These fire are the result of bad forest management. If they burnt off every winter annually climate change is not a factor in the Australia landscape. When they stop the First Nation people practice of annual burnt off fire these Mega fire started to occur. Tasmania have had a problems with mega fire since the genocide of the First Nation people of the island as early late 1800,s. Main land Australia never had these mega fire until the stopping the First Nation people annually burn off.

Like the IDF terrorist is the most useless army then and still are now. The amount of hate for Israel throughout the world was non existence before 04/10. Today 99.9 % of the world truely hate Israel for their cowardly terrorist actions. The Israel supporters talk to big talk with cutting off the head of Hamas but have only murdered four Hamas commanders. Why did nine IDF terrorist get cook and burnt in a 1961 troop carrier last week in Gaza. 1961 a 65 year old troop carrier because Hamas as cooked all their useless new Israeli built ovens on wheels killing 100,s of IDF terrorist trap inside. This show how Israel even with the backing of the USA military might are the worst army even put together. One state one vote is the main course. Hamas killed over 70 IDF terrorist deserters hiding out in civilian houses in Gaza with IDF unexploded missile which they wire up by remote sensors trapping the IDF terrorist deserters. All killed wearing their runners. Hezbollah are launching a full out attack in the next week. Expect more IDF terrorist deserters to run away from the fight with Hezbollah. Israeli is back into a corner. the IDF terrorist are deserting in their 1000,s because there been a run out of runners in Tel Aviv stores so expect Israel to start launching nuclear weapons in the north of Palestine to counter Hezbollah advancing liberation army make more of the world to hate Israel. ziballa: those 11 were not countries but tribes arm with 1857 enfields and swords. Take a hell of lot guts to defend your lands with only swords and antique single fire rifles. What did the Jew have ? that right they had the USA military tech and were very luck to survive because the Jews wears runners and it hard to keep a force together when your infantry wants to run away.

The question that needs to be asked is why 20% of new mother don,t take leave. ? This amazes me. It should be automatic or compulsive for new mother to take leave. Those first few week the mother needs to bond with the child or children for both to have a heathy start to parenting. The same for fathers but it should be a given for the mother to take a minimum of 6 weeks leave. Shame on those companies that allow the new mother back to work after giving birth.

First ,what is meant by high male wages ? I know a lot males who certainly want part of this high wage claim when compare to other western countries It actual below average. Women working as a mechanic is paid the same hourly rate as her male mechanic in the same workshop. It against labour law to underpay a trade person. Nurse are on the same hourly rate as the males nurses. A female educator ( teacher) is paid the same rate per hour as males teachers. If you're a female elementary teacher you are paid the same hourly rate as an male elementary teacher. Trade persons weather male or female are on the same hourly rate here in Japan. the problem is profession where it is required to negotiate for a yearly contract. Males seem to overwhelmly get a better deal because they are better at negotiation a yearly contract. Women lift your game in your negotiating skills because no management nor government are going to set the same pay rate for all yearly contracted professionals.

The problem with a decent minimum wage holding back Japan society on a better life. It under 1200 yen an hour. The UK minimum wage is 11. 44 pounds per hour. Australia it is $22 AUD an hour. That double Japan's minimum wage. The Japanese minimum wage earner will put that money straight back in the system through better education and a better lifestyle instead of surviving on tofu. I know a lot of Japanese minimum wage earners and Tofu is their main source of protein and not by choice. The worst part about this is Japan the world's 4th biggest economy can easy afford to double the minimum wage to 2500 yen per hour.

No it is not. Check out the performance of the Neikki and compare it to the devaluation of the Yen. 30% of Japans buying power gone since per covid down from 98 yen to the USD to 66 yen to the USD. To work in the Japan society you need food, and energy. Both are imported commodities. Food because there is only one growing season per 12 months so winter see food imports double. Energy because of the shutting down of the nuclear power plants.

No stranger: The person writing the article has no real life experience. Did they include the smokers of drugs of tobacco. No They are working off numbers that pertain to a certain drugs. Tobacco is a worst drug to smoke because it is highly addictive and causes death and should be included. It a BS article that pertain to only a very small sector of humanity. Trying to turn a Pig ear into something important. This article should be in a medical journal. It is not major news. More people die on the road from the cause of transport and alcohol. Do we demonise the road users and alcohol drinkers. No. If they want to smoke, it their life and the number of people dying from the act are clogging up hospital are all from Tobacco and alcohol related not from smoking speed, cocaine and opium. If you against recreational drug using you should have tobacco and alcohol at the top of your list for they do the most damage to society. I bet the writer of this article par takes in either or both for number involve in tobacco and alcohol to work off are in the billions and give a true indicator of the number of deaths involve in drug smoking.

David Brent: You travel to the USA you exchange 10,000 yen note into USD and you will get $66 USD today. Back pre covid 08/2019 and exchange that 10,000 yen note you would get $98 USD. that is a decline of 30 % on the value of the yen to the USD. During the same time I take a Aussie $100 note change that for USD I will get $66 today. Back pre covid 08/2019 that Aussie $100 note would get me $71 USD. Today that Aussie $100 note will get me 10,000 yen. Back in Pre covid that Aussie $100 note would have got me 7200 yen. See the difference the Yen has loss to both the USD 30% and the AUD 28 %. During that time the AUD has lost 5% to the USD.

The yen Pre covid was 95 yen ( 08/2019 ) per USD. Now it is 66 yen per USD. Some might argue That a strong USD. In the few next weeks the AUD will reach parity with the yen. Today it is 98 cents to 100 yen. Pre covid 72 cents to 100 yen. ( 08/2019 ) Pre covid the AUD was 71 cents to a USD. Today, it the same as the yen, 66 cent or 66 yen for 1 USD. The AUD has gone down 5 points where the Yen has gone down 32 points during the same time line against the value of the 1 USD. That like 30% and that a decline on anyones books.

If I didn't return home for the Mega fire season in 2019 which was before the virus shutdown. My daughter family would be struggling with time and money. I worked long and hard in the world's mining industry earning an early retirement. I retired at 49 (2010 ) but a year latter found myself in the Japans snow industry helping out a mate and spent the next 9 years living around Japan. That 2019 year my daughter when back to work after having 18 months off with maternity leave. So I have help out minding the grandchildren for the last 4 years which has been a big help to her and her family. Which I enjoy doing. What this does is take away pressure off a young family and having the confidence of knowing personally your children are in good hands. I have not missed working but I know having 10 year out of mining I wouldn't just pickup where I left. Safety and workplace manner have improve. the latter would take time to adjust to today's standards. So I found money has a lot to do with time spent with family. To say throwing money at family rising a family is a waste shows how uninformed some posters are. Yes Government money sure does help out with more time with the family unit then spending that valuable time working overtime.

Exit plan. Like $5000 available in quick time. I was caught up in the 11/03 disaster and had to get to Narita and all train were cancel for 24 hours. Taxis were charging 50,000 yen to get you to Narita from Tokyo eki. No wifi only LAN from my hotel and landline pay-phones. I had my phone and a MacBook Pro. The phone was useless. the trains came back online at 6:00 am on the 12/03. I was also caught up in Wellington NZ disaster and had a four day wait for a fight out. So easy access to funds was the most important item.
